DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE BECAUSE THEY DON’T APRECIATE GOOD CUSTOMERS!! After 5 years spending thousands of dollars every year in Liquor depot in new Britain one day I paid for a bag of ice on my liquor shopping and forgot to grab it. If you been to this place you know that when you need ice you paid for it first and then grab it. Unfortunately I forgot to grab it that day and when I got home I noticed that I forgot the ice so I decided to grab it next time I when there. So on my next liquor shopping I told them I forgot my ice last time I was here and they said sorry we don’t believe you!! I was in shock after all this time spending all this money in this place they did not believe and I even brought my recipe to show. I felt sad for them because they just lost a very good customer for only $1.50...

Since new ownership that place has gone downhill with friendly service! There are a couple friendly faces that still work there before new ownership but that's it. There is a indian lady that works the register and always has this long face on her. Never cracks a smile, doesn't offer you a bag and won't even say hello! Pretty sure she is racist actually because there is no need to act like that towards a paying customer who has been going there for years! I worked in customer service for years and if I ever acted like that towards a customer I would be fired! I recommend this liquor store does something about her attitude problem because to be honest I won't be going back and I hope this review gets to a lot of people! I can't speak for the wine or liquor, but I'm disappointed that the selection of local and regional beers is completely overwhelmed by IPAs. I have trouble finding porters, stouts, and other dark varieties here, even in winter which is prime Imperial stout season. Even local/regional lagers and pilsners are not well stocked. It's a rare day that I find Southern Tier or Weyerbacher on the shelves, and never in the fridge.
