Hunan Wok III — Restaurant in New Britain

The reason people order out is to relax and have a good meal… RIGHT? WELL THIS NOTTHE PLACE FOR THAT… ALL YOU’LL GET IS UPSET! If I could give “0” stars I would! I placed an order online and went to pick up at the time slot I was given. I arrived and I said I placed an order online. The woman looked confused and said one minute take a seat. I waited for a 1/2 hour! Then when I got home the order was all wrong. My daughter ordered general Tso chicken combo and received white rice not fried, and did not get her chicken noodle soup. I ordered beef w/mushrooms but I got beef with broccoli. There was so much broccoli and only a fist full of beef pieces it was disgusting. The egg drop soup I ordered was so thick it stuck to the spoon. I called to complain and the woman is arguing with me! I told her I want a refund but she refused to give it to me. Anyone thinking of going here please DON’T! If they get your order wrong they will not give you...

Ordered the Lunch General Tsao's (sp?). They wouldn't let me add on the 2 crab ragoons for $1 extra bc I already chose the egg roll subbed for the soup...meanwhile the menu has it set separately. Whatever. The one in Newington does it no problem 🤷🤷...I haven't been to this Hunan Wok in a while since I moved and was really disappointed at the quality and taste (or lack there of). They used to be better. But yeah, next time I'll go to Great Taste around the corner. Much better quality and taste/flavor for a couple bucks more. Don't waste your money here. The boneless spareribs were so burnt we couldn't eat them. When I went back to get the rest of my order, which they forgot to give me, I gave them the ribs back and asked for a new order. That new order was half of a container and they were just as burnt. My order of garlic shrimp came with 3 small shrimp. Would not recomed this place. Food is overpriced and overcooked. Not worth it for a small portion of overcooked horrible tasting food. Great taste is 2 minutes away and worth the few...
