Family Dollar — Local services in New Kensington

I bought a few items and also a lighter, for some reason the lighter want put in my bag, nor do the cashier inform me it wasn't put in my bag, nor when I walked out that it was on the counter. The cashier let me walk out without saying ur lighter isn't in ur bag. I didn't then realized I didn't have it until I was home. I tried to call and ask about it. The number go straight to a busy signal. So then I reached out to a cashier that work there, and she had told me that if I can make it there in 10 minutes before they close I could get it if not I could come when her shift starts tomorrow but if I don't get it before they close she doesn't know what to tell me. How did I pay for something and if I don't come by a certain time you don't know...

First of all, the cashier is a sweetheart, and while I was shopping/ checking out, I noticed that everyone that came into the store, she knew them all by name. Nowadays, it seems like it is hard to come by someone who is as kind as she is & it made my day to see that. As for the store, it isn't bad! They had everything I needed & anything they didn't have, they had good alternatives. I have nothing bad to say...

This store is gross and impossible to walk through. The aisles are cluttered with boxes, (today is a good day, only 1 aisle is impassable, usually there are 2, 3, or more). As soon as we walked in, we had to move a chair out of the way to get through. There is a melted popsicle on a shelf by the freezer. The floors are extremely dirty. On the upside, the staff is...
