Rent-A-Center — Local services in New Kensington

I had a graduation/4th of July party and one week before the event my 7 yr old refrigerator stopped working. I had tons of food in my fridge and freezer and didn't know what to do. Called 3 Rent-A-Centers with all kinds of excuses and no one to help me. Called RAC in New Ken and Chelsie told me to give her 10 min and she would have one for me. And she did!!! Jay and Donald delivered to me by 4:00 that day. I can never thank them enough. I don't know what I would have done except lose all that food and would have had to cancel the event. With the COVID-19 we were not able to get a fridge for a month and I was able to rent that one so we didn't have to live out of coolers for a month. Chelsie, Jay and Donald went way beyond what they are expected to do. I was probably the happiest customer they ever had. Thank you Chelsie, Jay and Donald. You 3 are great! RAC, they all need a big raise cause they are all awesome!! This is what customer service is!!...

From the sales manager Rob to the sales associate they were all very rude! I just moved to Pittsburgh from Georgia and they made me feel I was stupid because I didn’t know what the name of the area I lived in. I gave them the zip code (in which that should have been enough). The manager was not willing to listen or understand my concern for the aggressive tone both these men where delivering to me! The manager was worst then the sales rep. I would reconsider going to this location unless you come with caution. I wouldn’t care how close or far this store is I would go to any of the other stores just for good...

how unprofessional these people give no leniency! they lie and say they are very understanding then go back on there word . The manager doesn’t seem to want to speak to people so they send other “managers” to talk on the phone ! And when there products don’t work they try to rig it and don’t discount the product that doesn’t work .as well as showing up at people’s door steps unwelcome with no answered phone call saying they may come .
