Another new business out here in the french quarter! We both love spicy food and wanted to see what they had. The owner, John, was inviting and the passion he had for his craft was intriguing - from spices, hot sauces, salsas, butters...they have it! Theres an option to sample the products they have, and they offer chips and various sides in addition to mini spoons. We ended up choosing habanero salsa and cajun kiss hot sauce. My other favorites were the Adelina's hot sauce and Bourbon St Burn!! I promise we're going back every NOLA visit, every time. We had the bestest experience with the guys and other patrons at NOLA Sauce Bar! They're knowledgeable of every product in their store, whether in-house or an external brand. They had to have supersonic hearing, a sixth sense or something 🤭. Seemed like anytime a customer picked up an item or had a private thought, here they came with a test sample or offering a nicely packaged bundle, and bam, there we were spending more money 🤣. I visited this business a few weeks ago and I really loved it. The staff was very personable and detailed. I bought a few spices that I've tried since buying them and they give a great taste and a different taste than ordinary original spices. What i really like is the pumpkin butter. I tried a sample in the store and it was great. The pumpkin butter is mixed with cream cheese and served on crackers or a chip. This is really good. I will order again probably online.
