Anyone who knows anything about shopping for a new place to take care of your car knows it is nerve-racking. The process is even harder when you have no contacts, references or word of mouth to help you. But the moment I stepped into A & A Imported Motors I felt it was going to be different. First of all, they are a family run business, so they really care about their quality of service. The place is well organized and clean. They took their time explaining to me all of my options. For me, that’s always a great indicator of level of competency and security of a true professional. It tells me that they want to inform the consumer first so the customer can make the best decision that works for them even if it means they may lose some business. I felt immediately that I could trust them. And trust is everything, especially with this. Anyway, they did an amazing job beyond my wildest expectations. Best place you can go to bar none. I have never had a complaint or a car they couldn't fix or restore!! This place Cost more than the local mechanic and less than the dealership but more proficient than both alternatives put together and worth it!! Although there's always people who will complain no matter what it is. I myself have been going here for 20 years with my car's and never had a issue with them. Not one!!!! Although for me the bad places aren't worth speaking of. This place is always consistent. How many places can say that over a 20 year span. They have great mechanics a awesome business owner (joe) ...and Lynn is simply the best. I can't see anyone giving them less than a 4 to 5 unless their a chronic complainer who wants something for nothing. Leaving your car in their care is the best and smartest decision you could ever make for your car. There's not too many honest places left and this place is definitely one of them. I have been so impressed by A&A Imported Motors. I moved to NYC in 2020 and asked a trusted friend with ties to the Auto industry for recs for luxury vehicle service. He asked around and told me A&A and it’s been one of the best recommendations I’ve gotten here for service on my Range Rover Sport. I live downtown, but it’s worth it to drive to UES for a place you know and trust. The staff here is incredibly nice (especially Joseph!) and professional and they’ve always taken a very honest and straight-forward approach to helping me. I’ve come in with some random requests - like installing a hitch cage when I came in for an oil change - and they’ve always been super helpful and never pushy about things they see & recommend fixing. Most recently - when rats ruined my engine, they were super helpful and cooperative, working with me and my insurance company and being so flexible in holding my car until I could come and get it. I really couldn’t recommend them enough and am so happy I have a trusted resource like this...
