Avoid this company. I wish I had! ordered my breast pump from this company and the wrong pump was sent to me. a pump that's not even advertised on the website. so why was this pump sent to me??? When I called to advise them of the error and to get the correct pump, I was told that I couldnt send the wrong pump back because I opened the box. That made absolutely no sense to me. I had to open the box to check out what was sent to me. it's not like I used the pump. then I was told that I had to send in pictures of the pump I received to basically prove that the wrong pump was sent to me, and a manager would call me back right away. so I did as requested only for 2 days to go by, and no call from the manager. I ended up calling back, in which I was told again that a manager would call me at 11am. by 3pm, still no call, so I called again. let me mention that the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. when I finally got someone on the line, I had to demand that I talk to a manager. once the manager was on the line, i was told that they are aware that the wrong pump was sent to me and that they will simply send me all the pieces I'm missing, that I should have received with the actual pump I ordered..... receiving the actual pump that I ordered wasnt even an option. I'm extremely upset about this and think that it's very bad business. well that was 3 weeks ago and I havent heard anything else from this company. they got paid for a pump that cost more but sent me the basic pump. I feel ripped off and feel like this wasnt error. and it's now time to take...
   Read moreEdit : I wanted to share an update about Yummy Mummy. I am incredibly happy and impressed with their customer service. In less than 24 hours from when I contacted them, they got back to me with a personal email and phone call and assured me that they will look into my complaint. And within 48 hours they had completed solved the problem and fully communicated with us. Throughout the whole process I felt like I was important to them and that they value me as a customer. I think that this makes Yummy Mummy stand out as a company that stands up, supports and truly cares about their customers. I will definitely be a return customer.
I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of yummy mummy. Two months ago I submitted a request to see if I'm eligible for a new breast pump. I filled out the form and 3 days later the pump arrived with a bill for $0. I was under the impression that my insurance was contacted and I indeed was eligible. Now, months later, I receive a bill for $250. I come to find out that yummy mummy sent me the pump with a bill for $0, which I accepted, however they did not actually contact my insurance until much later. I think that this was done purposefully in order to prevent me from ordering a pump from somewhere else. Yummy mummy order practice are fraudulent. They should have checked my insurance and called me to let me know that there would be an up charge. I regret ever doing business with a company like this.    Read moreI ordered a pump from YM after my child was born and my old pump wasnât cutting it anymore. She spent about a month in the NICU so I wasnât in a rush. The Albana pump came and I used it for about 3 months before it literally melted and almost burned my house down. I reached out to YM and they were very gracious and sent over a new pump, this time an Elvie. I was excited to try it but when it came one of the pumps wouldnât charge. I reached out again via phone since I was as in such a hurry and they told me that they wouldnât send me a replacement because âthey already sent me 2 pumpsâ and the second was âa major upgradeâ. I donât think 2 defective pumps, one which is a lawsuit waiting to happen should qualify as good customer service. My child has special needs for feeding and the fact that Yummy Mummy was preventing me from feeding her efficiently was heartbreaking. They told me I could call my insurance and 3 way call them and then possibly get approval but honestly, it was so upsetting to deal with the attitude I was shown I never wanted to go through them again. They made me feel like I was being greedy and didnât deserve a new breast pump. Iâll be reaching out to the BBB about YM and the manufacturer of both pumps to let them know about the defects. I do not recommend going through Yummy Mummy for your breast pump. Zero compassion for a mom of a special needs child...
