BLOOD AND OIL - CANCELLED - IT'S RIDICULOUS
I just wanted to write and say I am and when I tell my husband in the morning he will also be seriously disappointed, They finally put on a half decent show on a Sunday Evening "Blood & Oil" and I just googled it too see when it will be starting up and read that it is being CUT........I am sure you could cut some damn Football or Hockey Games instead. Haven't they heard of TSN they should be paying to watch Football, hockey what ever sport, as we have to pay to have our satellite system and pay good money to be able to watch television of shows, series, documentaries etc. and I also talked to people in Hamilton, Ontario and they too found the series fresh. I hope somebody at ABC wakes up and smells the coffee, or whatever the saying is, Cut back on something else, don't pay the damn actors the thousands of dollars they may be asking for, NEGOTIATE , Please Keep this show on the AIR.....For crying out loud other stations have this foolish ARROW show that we started watching and with all of these weird things that have been coming out of this show, it's getting to be a little pathetic to watch, many others besides that too....It's seriously a shame that they don't ask the PUBLIC that PAY good money for satellite television etc. and pay per view etc. but just go ahead and cut something off which if given another month or so I am sure they would have seen the ratings soring. Yes go pay the Kardashians some big bucks for their foul language and lack of good manners and keep a show like that and these other shows I'm not saying just ABC, but different channels in general. It's just not right.

Read moreABC News has officially completed its transformation from a once-respected news outlet into just another echo chamber for political cowardice. In its decision to bend the knee to Donald Trump—whether by soft-pedaling interviews, platforming lies without adequate pushback, or treating a twice-impeached former president as just another normal candidate—it has set a chilling precedent. The message is loud and clear: if you wield enough political power and generate enough controversy, ABC will gladly offer you a sanitized spotlight.
This isn’t journalism—it’s capitulation. And it’s dangerous.
The network has traded hard truths for access, accountability for appeasement. Instead of challenging Trump’s endless stream of misinformation and authoritarian rhetoric, ABC chose to normalize it, inviting the rest of the media ecosystem to follow suit. In doing so, they’ve not only betrayed their audience but helped erode the already crumbling foundations of public trust in journalism.
What ABC has done is no different from what Fox News perfected: dressing up political propaganda as news. The only difference is that ABC used to pretend it was above that. Not anymore.
No one should trust ABC News. It’s not a bastion of truth—it’s a hollow brand name wearing the costume of journalism. And like Fox News, it now serves only to distract, distort, and deceive. If you care about facts, accountability, and democracy,...
Read moreGoing to watch The View, the production team instructed us, rather sternly, (after waiting outside in rather frigid New York winter morning air for quite awhile) to stay in our already-formed single-file line, and to get as close to each other as we could — two-by-two, if we wouldn’t mind; “That’d be great, thanks” — so as to make enough room so everyone in line could enter the building at the same time. Once inside, the long hallway we stood in offered less room for us to spread out a bit and get out of one another’s personal space…. yet we were constantly squeezing back up against each other every few seconds each time workers of the many active studios came rushing through the hallway, most of them carrying equipment, pushing carts, or even navigating through the hallway with vehicles and six-foot-tall appliances and who-knows-whats on wheels! It felt like it could have been better planned, or executed in a way to decrease the discomfort of us, the studios’ visitors. I just feel like somebody, by now — considering how long the show has been on air, and how long guests have been visiting the studio to fill the seats so the show actually has a ‘live studio audience’ in front of which to do the show — SOMEBODY should take a look at that situation…and that if they haven’t, then they really ought to.
That’s why...
