I used Abigail Madison for the first time in 2017. When my nanny decided to leave after three wonderful years, I went back to Erin again and found a stellar replacement for our nanny. After two years, our nanny met someone in the service and plans to marry him. I reached out to Erin again. Each time I came to her, she sat with me, took extraordinary care and time to get updates on all of the children, their schedules and personalities. I think that is why we are on nanny #3 from Abigail Madison. They have all been exceedingly professional and outgoing, personable caregivers. What I like about working with Erin is the transparency and the care with which she matches clients to families. When I was first looking for a nanny I had some unfortunate experiences with other agencies and nannies that were not screened professionally or did not have the skill set they professed to have. After our third child was born, we decided to try a professional service to help us with our childcare needs. We chose Abigail Madison among others to find a nanny. Abigail Madison ('AM') was by far the quickest to source, and that should have been the first warning sign. I will raise my hand I should have done more due diligence on AM before going into contract with her (I think it is a one person shop, but not sure). The nanny did not work out - I suspect there wasn't much screening but clearly no way to verify. We believe there was a legitimate case that AM did not fulfill the contracted due diligence. After the firing, she refused to get on the phone. She was not satisfied to just not give a partial refund but that we were some how misusing her for firing a nanny that should never have been placed. I have been with this agency for almost 3 yrs which I found the best ever in my life. I liked this agency and all staff especially Mrs. Erin, who I m very much pleased to work with. She is very responsive, helpful and even so professional as well. As I requested her for a house cleaning job again just yesterday and she responded to my messages promptly without taking any time and later, after few minutes, she contacted me back to say that she already set up interviews for me for tomorrow. It’s all happened within a short period I mean just within two days which is so amazing..!!
