This grocery store is absolutely PACKED with ready-to-eat meals from sandwiches to chicken tenders, sushi to chocolate cakes, and hot soup to an insane salad and deli sandwich bar. I absolutely adore the baked goods section where pastries like croissants, donuts, bagels, muffins, focaccia, and sourdough bread are neatly displayed in large bins where you can select pastries with tongs and put in a neat little paper bag. Pastries are super cheap and are pretty big compared to standard bakery or cafe pastries. Lovely market with an impressive display of gourmet cheeses and meats, an extensive collection of sauces and spices, and a neat section for fresh produce.

One of my favorite market chains in the city. I love how organize and clean the place is. They are a bit on the pricey side, but the produce always looks good and fresh. They have fresh produce, pastry, bread, prepared food, sushi, cheese, and cleaning products. I also love how convenient they are. However, the staff is pretty slow, and can’t always get timely assistance.

my normal deli didn't have any pepperoni so i came here and bought about $7 of pepperoni from the deli. got home and found out they all have this weird brown ring on all the slice's of pepperoni and smells a little funny. will never buy cut meat here again. this store do not store their meats right.

I came in very early this morning, at 7:15, right after the store opened. I wanted to come early because I knew I was going to be with 2 service animals. While I have both of their service dog registration information, including photo IDs and am therefore allowed to enter with them, I felt it better to beat the holiday rush since I was with the dogs. I figured it is less stress for the dogs and less annoying people that want to judge even though they don’t know the situation. I had a quick conversation with the first gentleman I saw who worked there who was right at the entrance when I walked in. We had a chat about trying to make sure the dogs did not sniff the food, I told him that I would definitely make sure they do not, and that was it. He was extremely kind and courteous! I needed 8 or 9 things and since I had a list I was able to get them quickly. The dogs were on their leashes right by my side the whole time I was retrieving the items. All the staff members I passed who were busy working did not give me any issue whatsoever, they all seemed very happy and overall the vibe seemed positive. When I went to the registers, since it was early, there was no line and only one register open so I went right up to it. The Latina register attendant was very cold and short with me. She was also looking at me as if I was an alien with 3 heads. If you have had someone look at you like that before, you know that it is not a nice feeling! I tried to be very respectful and nice so I said “hello, good morning” and she just nodded her head. Alright no worries, it was a beautiful morning and nothing was going to change that for me. I paid for all of my items ($99, from the looks of it the largest purchase of the day so far) and bagged them up in my backpack that I brought since I knew I wouldn’t have free hands to easily carry bags. This was not my first time so I know how to prepare. When I was done I said very joyfully “I hope you have a snappy 4th of July” and she did not respond. Forget about responding, she did not even look at me. I was a bit shocked that she was now being so blatantly rude that I just turned around and left. Until the lady at the register I was so hoping to give this establishment a 5 star review. But this ladies behavior was a bit disgusting. It should not matter if you don’t like dogs personally, or have an issue with them at your job…whatever it is, 2 dogs that did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to you do not warrant you treating...

Bought a fruit dish and got home realizing it had mold on it. A receipt was not given to us because they were busy and the cashier went to help a customer after us. No biggie.

I went in this morning to exchange the tray and was told that I made it moldy myself because it was warm (I didn’t want a moldy fruit tray in my fridge overnight) and due to not having a receipt they wouldn’t be able to do anything. At all.

So $15 down the drain because of no receipt, when the tray was well within the window of expiration listed on the front. I literally just wanted a replacement and no one was pleasant do deal with whatsoever, and blamed ME for just wanting an edible product.

I will be heading to Trader Joe’s from now on.

Trader Joe’s service and quality is far beyond what you find at Westside Market. I just moved 2 blocks away and you’ve now lost a customer due to the inept ability of the...

Maybe it is early days, but this store is not ready for prime time - the staff seem to have barely been trained. On one visit, I saw someone moving crates around knock cartons of fruit off a display and walk off leaving them on the ground (a customer picked them up). Another time, the "self checkout" terminals were left in cashier mode, and I had to figure out which of the many buttons to press to activate self checkout mode. Most recently, two cashiers seemed happy to just guess prices for bread rolls (incorrectly) rather than actually take the time to verify them.

Given what a cramped maze the store is, this doesn't inspire me to go there except in emergencies.

P.S. Their website has a "contact us" feature, but it is non-functional. (I would vastly prefer to raise...
