I’ve been a member of this gym for almost a year and I’ve been collecting this feedback as a last warning for the management before canceling my membership. I really loved the instructors from this gym as many of them have been working there for almost 20 years giving incredible quality workouts with the limited tools provided for the class. With all my respect to incredible work the trainers do, I think this place is falling apart. The AC situation in summer is very bad, the bags in boxing room were taken down for renovation and not placed back for more than a month now, there is not enough gear for people taking the classes so you better be first one to come. The most striking thing to me is that group classes in mack gym constantly being interrupted by private trainers/ gym members working out on in the same room. It’s unbelievable that people who work there don’t pay respect to a group of 40 people trying to figure out what trainer is saying and actually their own collegues . On top of that, the management doesn’t include new classes and not sticking for innovative approaches which results in that class are same is probably 10 years ago. Last but not the least, they removed low latin class and fired an incredible trainer who led this class for no reason. Honestly, this class was something that made me keep the membership and now I’m questioning my choices similar to other people who used to come there. I hope this is going to be addressed and if not, I’m out. And I know I won’t be...

Update: MEMBERSHIP PRICE IS GOING UP, THE ELEVATORS ARE BARELY RUNNING AND SERVICE STANDARDS IN GENERAL ARE GOING DOWN! (See photo)

REALLY GOING DOWNHILL. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE ANYMORE. SO TIRED OF THIS.

Hey guys— you have so much potential here but the place must be GROSSLY mismanaged. THERE ARE TWO WEIGHT BENCHES IN THE ENTIRE FACILITY!! I can’t believe it. I just left a Blink in a bad neighborhood in Brooklyn that has much better gym equipment and much more of it! They had 8-10 weight benches there and much more modern weight machines there. You guys have more potential than most but you just aren’t where you should be, as far as gym accommodations. Please make an effort. We need, at minimum, more weight benches and gym equipment that does not have to get loaded with plates!! Every other gym in the city offers machines with built in variable-control weights.

PS. I’m tempted to go down to ONE STAR after their kettlebell got rust all over my clothing today — GET IT...

I had a very concerning experience with one of the fitness instructors. I arrived five minutes late and was trying to quietly grab a mat and find a spot when the instructor forcefully grabbed my arm without saying a word. There was no verbal communication or warning — just sudden physical contact, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

After the warm-up, he indirectly called me and another person out by yelling to the class about not moving around during warm-ups if arriving late. Instead of addressing the issue directly and respectfully, the indirect callout, coupled with the physical force, felt unnecessarily hostile. While I understand the importance of maintaining order and minimizing disruptions in class, physical contact without consent and public shaming are never acceptable, and I hope the management takes this...

30$ day pass / single entry fee. They offer a free trial. Opinion from an average office gym sis with 6 years of disgreaiful results (181cm x 92kg @11%). Small gym in a fancy location. Air conditioner is a killer. Bring a hoodie. Bodybuilding: you will have a basic narrow double machine (khabib size), a few dumbbells and no pulley nor lat machines. Of course other machines do not exist. Powerlifting: - squat: 2 techno gym half rack. You will have air blown into the back while doing it, if you suffer scatica, cure it before training. - Deadlift: one location to do them next to the squat rack. - Bench: no safety pin, bad unracking location of barbell, very low to the ground. Perfect to rape the rotator cuff

They're slogan is "where real New Yorkers work out" and I would have to agree! They have a bit of everything, and the staff is so nice. I always feel like I'm at home. It really has a 'Cheers' vibe to it. Awesome place!
