Unfortunately I was unable to see Dr. Yuan, the facility was nice and clean. I called and was able to get appointment within 2 days, and I asked how treatment is usually performed (eg. cupping, massage, herbal remedies, etc). It was explained to me by the receptionist. I was seen by Camy and she administered light therapy and said after would be a massage. Once she removed the needles, she explains I will not be receiving a massage because I did not pay for it. My treatment is interrupted as the receptionist comes in to inform me that it cost extra, I agree and ask her please add it to my service. I’m not sure why as an elective service, that it would need to be explained mid-treatment to a rudimentary level that this was an add on AND verbal confirmation that I could pay would be necessary—unless there was an assumption that I would not be able to pay for my service.

I have had an acupuncture routine for over 3 years, several practitioners, and have never been treated like this. I am then left on the table after the receptionist leaves my room, and no one returns for massage or to close out my session. I pay the staff for the full service even though my session was incomplete and I left. I will not be returning and it’s a shame because I’ve heard such great things about Dr Yuan’s work, but the bedside manner and staff’s assumption of what a paying customer looks like really...

I came to see Dr. Yuan on a friend’s recommendation. She did a few acupuncture treatments on the left side of my neck and upper back. After the sessions, the stiffness on the left side of my body and the lack of flexibility in my fingers, which had been bothering me for half a year, improved significantly! It’s incredible!

Before this, I had X-rays and saw a physical therapist, but they all said my cervical spine was fine and couldn’t find the cause of my discomfort. Yet, I was in pain for the past six months!

Today, I’m so happy to have experienced the amazing effects of traditional Chinese acupuncture firsthand! Thank you, Dr. Yuan! I’ll definitely recommend my colleagues with neck issues to come to you...

I came into Dr. Wei Yuan’s office to help with my shoulder and lower back pain. I’ve never had acupuncture before and I was pretty nervous about it.
