I have had basal cell skin cancers in the past and I was desperate for a non surgical treatment for a current basal cell skin cancer on my scalp. I went to two “top” nyc dermatologists before finding Dr. Rossi and they both told me I MUST have surgery - there are no other alternatives for my basal cell. One of these so called top doctors was not only ademate, but he was demeaning as well. I’m so glad I didn’t follow this advice and instead continued my search for a flexible doctor. I’m not one to seek multiple medical opinions, but due to my knowledge regarding basal and how slow growing they are it seemed logical to me that there exists an alternative to surgery. I’m so grateful I found Dr. Rossi. He has the kindest manner and seems to be the only dermatologist that is current regarding alternative treatments to surgery even though, like the other doctors, he is a trained surgeon. He only puts patients through surgery if it’s absolutely necessary. To make a long story short, I had an extended biopsy rather than an actual surgery and..... there was no sign of cancer. My skin cancer was removed evidently during my initial biopsy (which the previous doctors told me was impossible). Had I listened to the other doctors I’d have a MUCH bigger scar and potential hair loss. If you are looking for the kindest and most current and competent doctor in the universe - look no further! My wife has skin cancer and needed specialized treatment. Dr. Rossi’s office never returned her phone calls. After countless attempts and significant effort to reach them, we finally got ahold of someone. After speaking with his staff, they scheduled an appointment—or so we thought. We never received a confirmation or any notification.

When we followed up again, the front desk staff informed us that no appointment had ever been made. They then suggested a Telehealth visit, but once again, we received no confirmation and never heard back. Later, we discovered that this appointment was also never scheduled by Dr. Rossi’s staff.

Dr. Rossi never reached out to rectify the situation. Instead, he spends his time posting on TikTok and Instagram while ignoring patients in need. To make matters worse, he fraudulently billed our insurance for a visit that never took place. It’s appalling that he would engage in insurance fraud, but it speaks volumes about his character and the way he runs his practice.

I reached out to Dr. Rossi's office at the recommendation of my dermatologist. An absolute joke. Two weeks of my time wasted in waiting for an appointment. His assistant needed to verify my insurance, or so she says. Regardless of what my issue is, give me the options. She would reach out to me by end of day on Friday, Friday came and went. She will call me back by 12 noon. 12 noon came and went. Asked that they delete all my info, that I'm no longer interested in their services and her response "I'm sorry to hear that" are you kidding me? this is all on you, not even the doctor.
