Dr. Jin hands down is the best obgyn I have ever had and in my opinion the best at Weill Cornell. I really believed if I had another ob my baby would’ve been a c-section. As a first time mom Dr. Jin addressed all my concerns throughout my pregnancy, she was also very proactive at all times and always a step ahead for all treatments I needed along the way. She diagnosed me with gestational diabetes at 10 weeks! She didn’t wait for me to hit 26 weeks in order for me to start controlling my glucose level. I believe that proactive decision was what helped me take control early enough to have a healthy birth. As per the birth experience with dr. Jin I would do it all over again. Throughout my pregnancy I heard a lot of horror birth stories of how doctors just do c sections because they want to get rid of you and cash a check. How doctors don’t listen and respect your decisions throughout labor. I had a natural birth because my doctor was Dr. Jin I’m a firm believer of that. She gave me the best pep talk to encourage me that my body was made for this and that I can do it. I pushed for 40 mins and my baby was out. I live out of state and I traveled to have my baby with Dr. Jin because I didn’t trust no other doctor and she did not disappoint at all! She promised me on my first prenatal visit that she would be delivering my baby and she kept that promise I have never heard of or seen that before. If your a first time mom having Dr. Jin as your ob will make you think birth is an easy and pleasant experience. I have the best birth story because she was my doctor. I will forever be...
Read moreI think everyone should read the letter this doctor signed along with Jamie Kramer, Allison Booster for Weill Cornell Medical Center before seeing this person for healthcare. The letter reads "REGARDING BIRTH PLANS:
Dear Expectant Mothers,
We warmly welcome discussions regarding labor and delivery. Our role is to support you, instruct you, communicate with you, and achieve the birth of a healthy baby. However, as your physicians, we feel that birth plans can be a detriment to our relationship. Please understand that we are extremely flexible and open-minded about many aspects of your care in labor. We would love for you to have "the perfect birth," but we have also been in situations where the unexpected arise, and for this we would also require your flexibility. We feel that the use of birth plans too frequently sets up unrealistic expectations and conditions for potential conflict. We are your care givers and would like to use our knowledge and experience to act in the best interest of you and your baby.
Some of you may have specific questions about episiotomies, labor induction or augmentation, forceps or vacuum deliveries, fetal monitoring or anesthesia in labor. We believe in giving our patients the best of care. In modern obstetrics, this may still include the aforementioned procedures.
Talk to us! We are here to listen and help care for you.
Sincerely,
The Weill Cornell Medicine OB/GYN Faculty Practice: Jamie Kramer, MD Allison Boester,...
Read moreDr. Jin is AMAZING! I had a miscarriage a year ago and the doctor I had for that pregnancy was awful. My GYN recommended Dr. Jin for this pregnancy and I am so grateful I was able to get in her schedule. I’m always seen exactly at my appointment time and sometimes earlier. She is very knowledgeable and thorough with testing and making sure everything is where it’s supposed to be. After losing a baby, I was super paranoid and scared to get pregnant again but Dr. Jin puts me at ease knowing that everything is fine. I’ve had so many tests and repeat tests so I know if something was wrong she would catch it. She has an answer to any question I have and has great recommendations to ease pregnancy discomfort. I work in a salon in the area and all of my clients with babies say omg I know her she’s AMAZING! I’ve honestly never heard a bad thing about Dr Jin. The entire staff in the office is amazing! The girls at the front desk are always pleasant and are great with scheduling appointments for in office and hospital scans plus they remember you which is an amazing feelings. The nurses in the office are also great! I never feel rushed and they are super sweet and efficient at their job. I’m a huge baby when it comes to anything with needles. The nurse that handles the blood draws is THE BEST! I can barely feel anything and she is always super fast and distracts me with great...
