Banana Republic Factory Store — Local services in New York

This specific BR factory store would not take back a defective pair of jeans I bought there where the zipper broke after a handful of wears. I’ve never had a pair of jeans from any brand break like that in my entire life besides here. I’ve had holes after years of wear but never a broken zipper like this that quickly. Apparently, a customer is supposed to know that an item is defective without wearing it according to the manager on site. The manager is not aware of their defective merchandise policy and refused an exchange or credit of any sorts.
