Will hopefully be HOT spot for people to come to go shopping on the water front pier, dinning at a nice restaurant with the beautiful views of NYC and Jersey city Skyline and to come ride the worlds tallest Ferris Wheel 🎡. I am not sure what the legal battle is all about other than waisted money with the contracting company. But Staten Islands waterfront near ferry terminal is suppose to have the worlds tallest Ferris Wheel, a new mall and restaurants and suppose to be finished years ago. millions have been spent but nothing has yet to be finished. So in my opinion, until something actually gets done the only reason to go to this park is to ride the Staten Island Ferry and see the beautiful view of the NYC skyline. Read moreAlways go here on Sundays because of FREE parking at the ferry. Stores opened at 11am but some like Nike opens at noon. Its a hit & miss. If you want to waste time, walk around and enjoy the view- come on down. There were few sales at Old Navy & Nordstrom Rack, you just have to look. Food wise, not a lot of selection of food to grab.
