Big Six Barber Shop — Local services in New York

Im from South Carolina. I come to New York called these group of individuals for a haircut. They told me they didn’t take kids … Because they have a barber who specializes in that. (make that make sense a barber is a barber). But since i been in New York I notice a lot of kids get haircuts & act out. My kid is 3 and will sit in the chair like he’s 35. Regardless if a child acts out or not. A CHILD HAS THE RIGHT TO FEEL GOOD AND IMPORTANT! & what is a barber who specializes in kids ??? Make it make sense . Not to mentioning i was told 3 different prices. Definitely...

I'd been here twice before, both times excellent. But then their main loctician left and the service they offer now is beyond basic. They wanted to shampoo and style my hair without using conditioner after. And then still charge the same price as before. Then be rude and dismissive when I complained. I'm sorry but the health of my hair comes first. I'm never going back here. It's too bad because Maame - the old loctician...

Very disappointed with my haircut. I will NOT be going back. Worst haircut I’ve had in a while. I’m goin to another barber to fix what he did. Uneven sides, he didn’t even brush my hair before he cut it...Didnt cut the top, now it’s uneven and looks terrible.And I had to tell him sanitize the blade before he used it on me...smh.
