I love everything about Blick, but as a Combat Veteran in the Marines, it saddens me that Blick does not have a Veteran's discount. Also, the sales advertising was misleading. When I went to buy two 5 pack of canvasses, it said that get 2 packs for 14 or 18 dollars: I was charged 30 something dollars. My point is that had I known that I would have to spend more, I would have only bought 1 pack. The sales lady asked if I was a teacher, I told her I was an afterschool teacher and that I am not given a teacher's card, though I can prove I am a teacher. Anywho, 1 week or two ago, I went to Michaels. They honored my Veteran's status and I got 15% off my purchase equal to a discount as a teacher, 15% off. Because Blick does not acknowledge or honor Veteran's, or Afterschool teachers, I will now go to Michael's from now on. Another note, I was the winner of 125th Street's Harlem Blick branch, I was given $100 as a prize. I was never told there was an expiration. I lost $30 worth of award money. Writing all this saddens me but I hope changes are made to honor Vets and Afterschool teachers. For now, Michael's will have my...
Read moresure great selection they have a staff member it’s been twice now I’ve been she has a horrible attitude incredibly rude maybe don’t have her doing cash register if she’s gonna argue with customers and be sassy all day all I could say was have a great day after cuz it was laughable how much attitude and control she needed to have over my experience. Do better girl! Or get a job where u don’t have to interact with humans.
FYI The blick on w23rd has An amazing lovely non confrontational helpful staff I recommend way more than the passive aggressive unhinged sassy rude cashier with the glasses and her overly aggressive shadowing cohorts at w4th...

Nick and Josiah methodically collected all the colors (about 35?) and sent them to us by express mail. Dad sketched a drawing that day. We are so immensely grateful for these guys and everything they do for the neighborhood. Incidentally my father was an architect whose office was around the corner and his whole life he loved to draw and paint. But his big accomplishment was co-founding the Greenmarket, right across the street from Glick. An...
