Flight Club — Local services in New York

BEWARE!!!! This store is a joke! I WAS a loyal customer since they opened until now. Here's what happened; I bought some sneakers for a certain price. After not receiving them for weeks, I emailed and called them several times with NO response! Finally I find out after that they decided they wanted more for them so they weren't sending them. I didn't get any notification. The kicker was they kept my money! It wasn't until I contacted them several times via email and phone demanding to know what was going on that they then finally refunded my money almost a month later. Even still They didn't give any explains turn or email. It wasn't until I finally got some woman on the phone after being on hold for 20 minutes back and forth that the truth came out....She said that it sold out for that price. So if I wanted the sneaker I needed to pay more!!! WHAT?!?! That's BAIT AND SWITCH!!! The woman on the phone acted like she was doing me a favor by reimbursing me my money! If they would do that to a customer that had been with them since the beginning they certainly would do it to anyone. I did hear from other friends of this type of thing happening to them so shame on me for continuing to give flight club the benefit of the doubt!!! They need a serious reality check. They seem to have gotten too big for their britches! NOT worth giving people like them your money! It would appear they are seemingly creating bogus accounts to rate themselves 5 stars after many 1 star reviews!!! Several go into a bit too much irrelevant detail on the store's 'business model/purpose' for just a happy customer...red flag!!! Google...

ONLINE PURCHASING REVIEW: Let me start with stating that I am sure in store is probably a completely different experience, however I've yet had the opportunity to visit them. I have purchased now twice through Flight Club via online, first time my order took almost 2 weeks, little to NO communication from the company as it states they will if there is an issue with your order. I guess 2nd time, shame on me, lost a raffle with Foot Locker, go figure, decided to buy the 3s that came out with Flight Club, smooth transaction, no issues... Then the shoes never moved from the "seller" to flight club for authentication for DAYS! 11 days later of attempting to get direct answers Flight Club cancelled my order, didn't offer to replace it just sent me an email stating it was cancelled by the seller? Buuuuutttt they took my money and didn't think to resend a pair out for me as this was a gift for my husband. I'm sorry but I will NEVER do business with this company again. 2 terrible experiences, shame on me for trying a second time and now I'm having to struggle to locate these shoes and get them in time! Unprofessional to say the least how it was handled and the lack of understanding from the people they have working in their " customer...

From UK, visited the store on holiday as I wanted to have the full flight club experience. The selection was amazing loads of shoes that I remembered seeing when I was growing up. Staff were fine they didn't have my size in-stock so had to order online and have it delivered to my home in UK, paid for the sneakers and a express delivery charge for UK price was a bit more but was happy to get my sneakers that were sold out everywhere but there.

On recieving my sneakers in the UK I was hit with a customs tax/charge of about £100 (due to value of sneakers) by ups which flight club did not make me aware of at the time of purchase. Otherwise I would have made my relatives/friend collect from store and send to me. So just a note to those who buy outside of the USA just beware if the staff don't clear their throat.

But the sneaker was a flawless pair , the leather quality was what the YouTubers complained that their sneaker didn't have so to have one of the best quality pairs of sneakers I must admit I was either lucky or you get what you pay for at flight club (great quality). So yes would buy again from them but now I know how to ensure I don't pay more than just my store/...
