Not handicap accessible. No ramp. Had to leave wheelchair outside. However - yumyumyum. It was so delicious. I had soup and then the salmon. It was perfectly cooked. I finished all of my soup and wished there was more. The salmon came out, presented on a wooden board like plate. It was beautiful. There was roasted vegetables and a nice rice pilaf and a beautiful long piece of salmon. I’ll be honest, I’m not a big veggie person so I didn’t eat all of them. I picked out my favorites and devoured them alongside the beautifully seasoned fish. I did finish the fish. I also had a little bit of one of the desserts in a jar. It was good but not my cup of tea. A little too sweet and not enough fruit. (I got the strawberry shortcake.) But it was cute and everything was done well, I just like more strawberries 🍓 than anything else about strawberry shortcake.
Now the staff, I had a lovely lady serve me. She was personable and professional. She cleared the table of excess platings, so that there was plenty of room to spread out. There was also a young man who was still learning (you could tell - he was a bit nervous about everything he did) and he was so kind and checked on me while tending to his own table that was beside me. I always like a place that works together even when they have assigned customers to tend to.
Lastly, I have a fairly severe allergy. They made certain that what came out to my table was free of the allergen. It’s always nice to know that I won’t have to use my Epi pen.
Cost: If you’re worried about cost, this probably isn’t the place to go to. With everything I ate and a lamb patty for my service dog after we left, the bill was over $100.00. For one person. So come here when you don’t have to play with the calculator. They have a wide selection of upscale food options and I got to see their burgers being delivered to other tables, this is not a “burger joint”. This is a lovely restaurant with a large high end burger selection among many other options to...
Read moreMy first time there was when they first opened. Two very big problems I had were that they asked if we wanted tap or bottled water. We said bottled. They brought to the table a pitcher like bottle with a worn out label and it was EASILY visible that it was previously used. We assumed they used it as a pitcher so we did not think anything of it. When the bill came they tried charging us close to $15.00 for a refilled glass bottle of tap water! STRAIGHT UP THIEVES. You think because you are in the city and you are kosher and most of your customers obviously have the money needed to dine at your establishment that you could just steal from them and mislead them? I think not! Secondly, we ordered the brisket. It is a relatively expensive dish, Especially considering we ordered a full pound and not a half pound like on the menu. First off - there is no way they served us a pound of meat. It was MAYBE a little over a half pound. Secondly, it was cold and it basically consisted of 70% fat and 30% meat. Not only that, but the meat that was on there was dry and cold. I tried returning it and the manager put up a 5 minute argument with me. He gave me nasty faces and was demanding in detail descriptions of what was wrong with it. I ordered it with onion rings. He came back to the table before the bill came and told us that because I ate 2 out of the 6 onion rings it came with, he would be charging me for a full side dish of them. Now I wont lie to you - I have been back since. Only because I was in the area and the burger isn't half bad and there are not a lot of other kosher options in the area. My additional visits there were OK. Burger is good but service after my first experience was OK at best. I will never forget my first experience there and I would not recommend people...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in this was a disappointing experience. Made reservations online where it was asked what the occasion was and noted was for a birthday, As well as a dietary restriction. Upon arrival, we were asked the size of our party and told them we had reservations, reply was you, “it doesn’t matter” (Well, then, why bother to take a reservation where you can put in requests!) Restaurant was almost empty yet we were seated at possibly the worst table in a narrow space perpendicular and in between two sets of booths. Thankfully, we asked for another table and they let us move. Appetizers sounded fun yet were underwhelming and very small portions. Especially the animal fries which were soggy, coated with tasteless, fake cheese and sauce and had almost no meat in them. Despite a long list of beers on tap, the only availability was Heineken or Corona from a bottle! The burgers were the highlight –Tasty, generous portion, although they come with no side or accompaniment, And we had to ask three times for the signature sauces. Wait service hovered the entire time, anxious to clear plates before done and seemingly get us out of there. Again confusing as the restaurant was almost entirely empty, And it was quite early in the evening. We asked for dessert with a candle for the member of our party celebrating a birthday. When I got the Bill was horrified to see that not only was the birthday dessert not comped, as is in most restaurants, but they charged me for the candle! Spent over $400 for less than 45 minutes there. We will...
