Brooklyn Braised Events — Local services in New York

I am so happy that I engaged Chef Christa Lynch and her team at Brooklyn Braised to cater my birthday gala. My hope was for the food to be more than delicious, I wanted it to be special, beautiful, and memorable. Brooklyn Braised delivered! From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the 3-course plated dinner service and wine selections, everything exceeded my expectations! Days later, guests are still reaching out to me to compliment the food and the overall dining experience.

If that wasn’t enough, the administrative and logistical parts of the experience also set a new bar. The team was very clear on process, and kept in great touch with me throughout the planning process. And, when venue-related constraints emerged, Christa and her team developed multiple creative solutions.

I first heard of Brooklyn Braised through some friends and people praising them on instagram. I fell in love with the aesthetic & concept off rip. Christa was so detailed, and the 2 days of planning our 40 person gathering left me feeling very at ease. We sided on the party bites menu. Stacey, her assistant was so cordial and assuring even the day of. Firstly the charcuterie- s'that how you spell it? Looked AND was to die for! The Salmon 'sammys' with the spicy mayo were delish on the palette. Lastly the General Tso's brussel sprouts was a vegan option uppart from the cilantro garlic wedges, so you know I had to try it. It was a hit for my guest and I. The only thing I regret is not capturing more pictures....

I booked Brooklyn Braised for a small private event that I was hosting and I couldn’t be more pleased with the services provided. To begin, I was immediately struck by the owner’s (Christa) level of professionalism. She really listened to what I wanted and incorporated it into the menu while also pushing me out of my comfort zone to try new foods/methods of cooking. She and her team arrived on time and the presentation was outstanding. I went with A trio of tosts—shiitake mushroom, ricotta and honey—roasted and herb stuffed branzino and everyone raved about how delicious the food was. I cannot say enough nice things about Brooklyn Braised and the service I received....
