This is the worst Carters Iâve ever been to. Itâs crowded & they havenât reorganized the store to better accondate social distancing. The customers were not following social distancing guidelines and staff wasnât correcting them. Prices are also consistently higher here than online.
Today was the last straw for me. I called ahead of time to confirm return policy and i got the manager behind the cash register. Manager was rude & misinformed me about returns and originally told me the Employee I spoke to gave me the wrong information and she couldnât process my return. Manager didnât change her story until I told her I had read the website return policy and Would show her the written policy on the website that said I could get store credit after 90 days. Then she finally caved and agreed I could get a return but told me I could only get a pittance back for brand new, unused shoes. She was not nice about it and didnât apologize for lying to my face about the policy in the first place, so I can only imagine what wouldâve happened if I wasnât tech savvy and hadnât had the website return policy handy.
I understand I was returning shoes after 90 days, but this was the last straw for me in this store. Never going back. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with the conditions during Covid-19. I want to say thank you to the employee who I didn't get her name who helped me out looking for a specific size I couldn't find. But for a guy name Von please keep your comments to yourself, not sure if he is a regular employee or a manager from the store. I have worked in retail myself and know that we have alot to say but please don't say it out loud. If people want to have kids let them and don't say some people don't deserve to have children. If it bothers you that much please look for a different job that don't consider you seeing other parents with children. I hope carters you see this and speak to all...
   Read moreThe worst customer service ever, I wanted to change a gift that was wrong size, the gift was $45 I wanted exchange for a pj and expecting to get something else I ended up paying more I asked why ? if the pj are only $15 and she respond with an attitude that had no recipe and it was a gift (never thought that because itâs a gift the price is reduced) and when I said to give me the gift back that I will pay the pj separately, she refused to give it back, just because it was already exchanged, (whatâs a lazy) and thatâs not what Iâm mad about it.
