Center Shot Archers has a great and nurturing community that feels like a tight nit local archery club. I was a bit worried walking in and feeling alienated, but the coaches and members were very welcoming. I've also been looking to get some tips on improving form and consistency, and they're more than happy to teach and give you time. There are a couple of downsides:
They only have the space on Thursday and Friday afternoons, and even then there could be cancellations. I shoot recurve, but it sounded like there were some restrictions for compound shooting (could not be, but the space is a ballroom, I wouldn't be surprised..)

We had excited and the instruction from Coach Brown and his wife Roberta has exceeded expectations! Coach Brown was a successful collegiate archery coach and left that to bring archery to underserved neighborhoods. His energy and enthusiasm as infectious. These affordable lessons have been a source of confidence for our 13 year old daughter. The coaches even organize tournaments between their students in different places in the city - a real boost to motivation!
