Good for knotless box braids. Competitive prices and average time you'd expect for completion. Braiding hair is included unless you want a non-typical specific texture or color. No frills in terms of decor, but could be neater in my opinion. This doesn't take away from the service.

What I love about this salon is that you are seen by appointment. You can call or stop by to ask to be scheduled. I like this because it eliminates waiting time, and hair is prepped so service starts immediately upon your arrival.

What I don't really like is how much gel is used. Your scalp and strands are practically covered in the gel. I notice this is a trend among braiders which is okay, I guess. But, not only am I not keen on having my hair weighed down by so much product, I am unfortunately allergic to the gels. I've been here 3 times in 2022, and I was pleased with the styles, but every single time I got home I had to wash the braid style, sometimes repeatedly. It still looks neat after the wash so I don't understand why I need the gel. The styles are in my hair for 4 weeks maximum, and is done for convenience. It's okay if it's not the neatest if gel isn't used. I asked for them not to use it but they insisted so for that reason I may not be going back. The last time I went, it took days before my scalp calmed down.
