If I could give this place negative stars I would. For those who are interested in going to this facility understand that you will be painting blind. Typically whenever I have gone for ceramics painting I can visibly see the color while I am painting. At this place the colors are presented 10 shades lighter than the original color and are translucent. You are told to paint multiple layers and that once out of the fire the colors would show more vibrant. On the website it also states you have 1-2hrs to paint but "no rush" but by the 2nd hour mark we were told there were people waiting. The photos attached are before middle and afters with the paint numbers above the color u choose vs whats given to you to paint. As you can see my design looks exactly how I left it with no vibrancy whatsoever. This piece is $43. I explained to the "manager" of the establishment that it wasn't fair that my pieces came out this way and requested a full refund and she could keep the piece. She offered a 30% refund which is $12. As you can see #62 which I used for the wings did not take #93 which is a dark silver for the moon DIDN'T take. The colors left weird streaks along the dress. The manager had the audacity to say that I probably only applied 1 layer of paint to the wings as if two hours isn't enough to apply more layers. It literally looks like gloss was applied to this horrible piece. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for an amazing painting spot Little Shop of Crafts is the best place. There is unlimited time to paint, you can see the colors as you go, you can have more than 3 drops of paint at once and you leave with your piece same day. I have never left a review for anything in my life, but the young female manager handled this situation with what seems like minimum customer service experience. My error was not leaving as soon as I realized the paint didn't show but after traveling over an hour my friend and I figured we would give it a chance. 0/10 don't recommend unless you want a garbage piece for...
Read moreWe just received our cubs after a week of our painting session, and we love'm! 💕
The place is nice and cozy, good for group activities or a lovely date.
Here's the process: We booked online, came on the day of our session to find a table with our names on it with brushes, color palette and water ready for us.
The host asked us to take our time to pick the plates/cubs/ornaments we want to paint on. Everything is well organized with it's prices.
We sat down, the host explained the process of picking the colors, coloring, layering and whatnot (wish this part was a bit more detailed and slower, because they have recited this a million times to people; but it's our first time there and it was a bit too fast and not detailed enough).
We painted, asked for more colors during our two hours there, they helped us with every question we had and were nice enough to accommodate us whenever we needed help or asked for more colors. You can choose your own brushes if you need more, and there's an area where you have a hair dryer to dry your paint and make the painting process faster.
We finished our session, the hosts asked us to leave the table as is and they'll handle our cubs and have them ready for the oven process and call us when they are ready.
We paid, said goodbye. A few days later we got an email confirming our pickup date and that our stuff are ready 👍 (email included times the shop is open and details on the pick-up)
We went on time, picked the cubs in less than two minutes after providing the email and our names. Cubs were wrapped nicely in protective paper and in a cute paper bag 🛍️
Over all the experience was lovely and we would definitely love to do it again sometime...
Read moreVery disappointed in this place. I recently moved ½ a block from this business and thought my kids would LOVE it. Been there once before and had a great experience but that was a year ago. This Saturday my husband and I took our 2 kids to paint. When we arrived, there were many people but a few empty tables (at least 3). By the door, there were 2, 2-person tables. We asked to be seated and they said there is no room for 4 people. We ask if they could put the tables together they said no. We told them that 2 people can sit at one table the 2 can sit at another table. They refused. I asked “What if 2 random people came in, where would you seat them?” The person pointed at one of the tables. Then I asked “What if 2 more random people came in, where would you seat them?” He pointed at the other table. I then asked what was the problem then. He said “I can’t let you guys sit there because you know each other.” WHAT?! I asked to speak to the owner and he said “My name is Lorenzo and I AM THE OWNER AT THIS TIME.” (Front desk person, Nisha, shyly confirmed.) At this time? Does ownership here change minute to minute? I’m extremely disappointed and will tell everyone I know how awful the service is here. Beware of employees ego and lack of...
