WEIGHT SCAM! BE AWARE… The lady with the glasses overcharged me today 03-21-25. I went home and suspected the weight of the fish vs. the price. I took out my scale and found a difference of about $9. I called to inquire and she kept putting the phone down and ignoring me, acting like she didn’t hear me. I’ve been going here for years. I will never step food here again. I always suspected but never checked until today. I’m wondering how much they stole from me over the years. LOOK AT THE SCALE WHEN THEY WHEIGH THE FISH(assuming the scale is accurate/legit)AND DO THE MATH. They do it on purpose. Happened to me at another fish market nearby, but I caught the guy and he re weighted the fish.

I will file a compliant with the business bureau and consumer fraud prevention agencies. I’ve the receipt and...

Questionable business practice Came here to shop for sea food with a friend. This is our first time here. Observed some questionable business practice: My friend wanted to use credit card and the lady charged him $2 extra for using it. We informed the lady that we will complain to Mastercard. Her response was the $2 was charged by Mastercard. We did not believe a thing she said. When I was paying for the seafood, I saw another female patron buying some fish. She specifically said which one she wanted but what the worker put in her basket was a less fresh-looking one. She caught him and asked him to replace it. Just watch out. My friend and I won't be buying here again but if you want to shop here, really check if you get what...

I visited 3/19. Wanted a stock of fish and was willing to spend a good amount of money. Good seafood is expensive. I was given the oakey doak. I purchased two nice sized striped sea bass ($22). I waited in the area for them to be cleaned. I was asked how many cuts. I said 3 and 4. Once they were finished, they were put in a plastic container but I was told they are not the ones I purchased. The rep behind me had another plastic bag with fish in. So I paid for larger fish and got smaller ones. They move fast and think people are not paying attention to what they're doing.I won't be back. I'm not a tourist! To bad with all the business they get, they still have to...
