CVS Pharmacy — Local services in New York

The pharmacy staff is ok the big problem is the wait line I was there recently total wait time just to pickup my prescription was 35 minutes it's a long long wait for some reason they're very very slow I saw 2 older men really complain about the waiting one lost his patience and left with his 2 children so if your in a hurry forget it be prepared to be on that line waiting for 20 minutes or more so bring your book or your pocket game because you will be on that pharmacy line waiting also you get skipped by people picking up they're prescription they will stand in the sitting area and wait to skip you on your turn it happened to me most of them are senior citizens so i don't mind that but a few were younger they never got on the waiting line at all they were standing in the waiting area and they will jump in front of you they should have a security guard there to make sure everything goes ok but they don't he stands by the front of the store when you come in it is what it is but it annoying and frustrating knowing that that goes on in cvs every time you go to the...

Since they’ve closed the Duane Reade/Walgreens up the street, the pharmacy at CVS has been overwhelmed, workers are not getting enough support from management as they are days behind on orders and have no extra help. Getting a vaccination (even with an appointment) might as well be impossible.

As for the rest of the store, shelves are under stocked, and items that are available are mostly behind lock and key… getting someone to help you is a painful experience.

There are three self check out machines that routinely have issues (broken, don’t take cash, don’t take credit cards, no receipts) if you’re lucky they might be one person on the register.

This is an understaffed location, don’t yell at the workers, complain to CVS...

Very disappointed with stuff in pharmacy I don't go as often like I useto becuz .of this issue stuff in Pharmacy. Additude is very poor they talk n laugh among them selves make people wait weather you are only one waiting n when they finally take care of u don't greet u smile .instead make u feel like u done something wrong for being there no eye contact just rude no people skills .they need to find another job sad how this world got that I dont give a shot additude .customers need their meds for the exception of nurses areconly professionals back in pharmacy all of them...
