D'Haven — Local services in New York

I occasionally went here to have a get together with friends. But, lately I was totally disappointed with Dhaven. I noticed the food is too salty and taste bad especially last June 3 Independence day. Me and my guests were dismayed with the food line up. Just imagined, we paid $ 60 each and they only served 3 kinds of food. The very salty pancit, chicken and beef stew that was too spicy. They know that their patrons likes Pritong Lumpia and they didn't add to the food line up. The guest even didn't liked it and kinda want to throw up the food. It was embarrassing to see your invited guests from different nationalities and had a bad experienced with the food that they served. I felt like, it was way more better to eat and enjoy at Kabayan Lounge or Kusina than here. Also, I came here and I thought that I will be seeing different folk dances and music the way they used to, but unfortunately, there were no folk dance nor folk music at all!!! And it was mentioned in their programs. And that was the reason why I came for and wanted to show it to my guests. I felt the owner fooled and betrayed their loyal customers, their guests and their own people for celebrating the Independence day and instead of showcasing FIL cultural dances and folk music as they listed in their programs. But they deceived us and they danced to the Tango instead. So, I will never go there again. I might find a different venue to enjoy music and dance...

D'Haven is a fantastic catering hall that offers a versatile and accommodating space for a variety of events. I attended a private party baby shower here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

The selection of catered food was excellent, with a variety of dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. The venue itself was the perfect size for a small to medium-sized party in the back, providing an intimate and comfortable atmosphere for the event.

In addition to the private event space, D'Haven also features a main area with a stage and what appeared to be a dance floor. This space adds a touch of elegance and versatility to the venue, making it suitable for a wide range of gatherings and celebrations.

As our event drew to a close, I noticed a private ballroom lesson taking place in the main area. This further showcased the adaptability of D'Haven, as it can host not only private parties but also cater to a variety of interests and activities.

Sooo disappointed. Food is just an a okay,I .was expecting something tastier,pancit is bland, chicken afritada needs more seasoning, lumpiang Shanghai was also so so. The waiter was soooo fast in taking away our dining wares, it's like he does not want us to go back and get more food. The food that the celebrant already paid for. I left my table for a bit and found he collected my coffee cup , and still just half full. They didn't refill paper towel , a roll was just placed on the counter, they should have been fast in replacing when paper towel dispenser is empty like how fast they were in removing dinner wares. If I will host a party, shall I rent this...
