Normally I never have an issue with Bee Cafe, especially after coming to this cafe for about two years. But in recent events I was absurd with the way things were handled. Before ordering, I was looking over at the menu board to see what to order. In front was a young man, who seem to have an attitude before I placed my order. He looked annoyed but from experience I know some days can be bad. I placed my order and waited 40mins for my sandwich to be prepared just for him to serve it to a different customer. I noticed it was mine but the other customers, a group, who ordered after me had already touched it w their hands. Later he comes back gives them a SECOND one just for it to be the meal to their order. As the women motioned they got the sandwich which he than realized it wasn’t meant for them. He looked at me asked where my food was, which I responded to that I never received it and handed me a dish that wasn’t mine or what I ordered. The sandwich was cold too and as mentioned it wasn’t the one I ordered it was a meal that was meant for another party. He didn’t apologize . I understand the customer service industry can be frustrating but I just didn’t like the resolution to give me a diff meal than what I...
Read moreThe purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review.
Atmosphere: The decor in this place is remarkable and well organized. It has good lighting and is pretty clean. It was also interestingly odd to see a connection with the laundromat next door. I'm not sure if that was a great idea, especially because it seems like this restaurant wants to stand out in the area.
Service: Acceptable
Food: This part was not really what I expected it to be. I mean, the quality is there. Ingredients seem to be fresh. However, the flavors are not quite there. At least, that's what I experienced with my order. I ordered the Bee Breakfast Sandwich, the Double Pork Buns, the Crispy Spring Rolls, and the Tiramisu. The sandwich was okay, just that, there's not much to say about it. The pork buns were small, not much meat but fat. The spring rolls were better than the rest of things I ordered to be honest. Finally, the tiramisu was average.
Price: If both, quality and flavors were really good, prices wouldn't be a problem. In this case, the lack of flavors does not compensate...

This is a collaboration between bee cafe. As one of the owners stated" they are always looking for new talent, they want to act as an incubator for chefs to try out there food. That being said it's a little confusing 2 sperate restaurants being ran out of the same establishment.
Bee cafe lovely little spot along side a laundry mat. Nice decor. Patio is cozy, with wooden wrap around seating. Good for groups of 5 to 10 people
Amboy Actual check-in is outside next to front-side outdoor seating. If you sit in restaurant or back porch must show vaccination cards. Order drinks inside at the counter Preorder for best results through the online platform.
