Dime Productions (printing shop) — Local services in New York

Went there to get an estimate on some printing done on my son's graduation sash and was quoted a price. Then when I actually brought in the sash on Monday 4/28 I was told the price was significantly higher. I asked why the price was so much more. And was given some BS response. But then the guy (possible owner) reduced the price by a fraction so I said ok and stupidly left it there. Since, I was not called to pick up my order by the third week, I went back on Monday 5/19 (on exactly the 3rd week) to see if they had my order ready. The guy who took my deposit and the order (for the one and only graduation sash) was not in. There was another male present, he called the guy who took my order to see if the order was ready. However, the order was not ready. I was then told to come back on Thursday and my order would be ready. Therefore, I went back on Thursday 5/22 (3 weeks and 3 days) and the guy who took my order (again, possible owner) was present. I asked for my order and he say it wasn't ready and that it would be ready the following day Friday. I explained that I was told it would be ready on Thursday and he insinuated I was lying. First of all, I was not lying. Secondly, I waited 3 weeks and 3 days (4/28--- 5/22) for one single print job...that is absolutely ridiculous! The guy who took the order (possible owner) had the audacity to tell me that he was working on other/bigger jobs and that was why my order wasn't ready. All he had to do for me was one small (graduation sash) single print job. There is no reason why my little job was not done in 3 weeks and 3 days...this is inexcusable!! This guy is too laid back and does not have good work ethic. Needless to say, I got my deposit back and will never return!! I should have known better, how could I have expected professionalism and good customer service from a place that looks like a pigsty. There was stuff all over the floor. Went in to price a potential job and the place was dirty, shirts unorganized and every where. The guy at the front desk was eating over some of the tee shirts and then didn’t want to show a sample because he claimed it was a customer order. These people donot know how to run a business! Very unprofessional, laid back attitude! Until now I haven’t even gotten what I requested to be printed, they donot even call to follow up on your order either! Would never recommend...
