( really slow service , unsanitary! and lazy) My best friend didn’t feel good and could barely walk from dizziness, headache and nausea , possible dehydration , etc , we got there around 3 am and didn’t leave till 8:00 am , he only got one bag of fluids for the dizziness , which did stop the dizziness but his stomach pain got worse and stayed like that even after we left , when we told the nurse that his stomach pain got worse after the fluids they said they will give him Tylenol … it took almost a whole hour for the nurse to get us two Tylenol , I know it was an hour because shortly after he took the Tylenol and was still in pain because the Tylenol didn’t help , a female nurse came in then and said the shift changed and my friend has been discharged an hour ago. And she said if he wants he can recheck himself back in the er … he said he wishes he just went to the hospital he went to last time in Jersey because he was in and out and felt better , here it took hours and hours and he was still in pain and could barely walk out of the er, after my friend got fluids the nurse took the iv out and literally just dropped it to the floor with little blood drops that went onto the floor and onto my water bottle that was also on the floor , our bags was also right by it too and my feet , I know it was already used but that’s gross to leave it like that in plain sight w the blood and medicine and all.. the female nurse who came in to say that we where there for an hour even made a stank face and said something about that used iv just being on the floor like that , thankfully he’s alright now but I felt like I just had to leave a review because there’s things I saw that just really shouldn’t be happening in a whole emergency room in New York . The other hospital closer to midland is better , my sister who’s disabled has been there for over a week for an ammonia and she’s been taken cared of nicely and well , and my father who’s visits her as well , they will offer him food and other services out of kindness . And they consistently would check on my sister , in the er and when she was moved to a regular room . Also the ER at the time when we went was really not busy . There was only one person in the waiting room and the staff and security was able to have a chill convo the whole time we where waiting , along with in the er room I always saw nurses chit chatting , so there was definitely not busy like that , idk why it took till the next morning for a bag of fluid and two Tylenol :/ (i should of took a pic of the iv on the floor but i honestly was so exhausted and forgot to even take a pic , i just wanted to go to bed because we didn’t sleep yet and it...
Read moreDO NOT GO THERE! Incompetent and Disgusting medical service provided if you do go and sub par patient care by its ER physicians who have better things to do it seems than to their job and actually help their patients. I fully support and agree with all other the reviews to avoid this place. The doctors do not care about their patients and do not order any diagnostic tests or imaging to confirm their “suspicions” of what the us underlying issue is if related to back pain. Instead , they tell you their guess , give you one or two meds after two hours for temporary pain relief and then tell you to go home , deal with it and cry about it later when you are out of their hair . They cross their arms and essentially say you are not there priority right now and that you’re back pain is not that bad as you think. You will wait hours with no update or information about delays or wait time and wonder why you even came here at all for help because they don’t do or can’t do their jobs. You will get the same answers over again with temporary solutions to mask the underlying issue and essentially “shut you up” to be sent home yet again with the same level of incompetent care and service that they may feel is superior care. You are made to feel like you are not a priority to them even when the ER is very slow with barely any patients. Your excruciating pain is not apparently not severe enough for you to receive any proper medical diagnostic care or imaging tests from them. Never heard such thing. Despicable treatment! Never attend or recommend this place to any of your family members and go somewhere where the entirety of physicians actually they care about all of their patients equally to help them when they are experiencing pain. I couldn’t even leave there with a valid doctors note for work because the physician wrote a note with an invalid and incorrect month and date- and was nowhere to be found apparently to even correct it for me to take it home. How is that ever acceptable! It is NOT! This ER should be investigated and shut down for gross incompetence of its staff members and workers and an alarming pattern in lack of communication. Such a shameful place to be at. Believe me when I tell you do NOT recommend this place to your loved ones or your family. They do not...
Read moreI started my stay at 10:30pm and at 7:30 in the AM I was woken up with a $700 bill. I wasn't even feeling stabilized but within 10 minutes the RN Justine came in abruptly to discharge me, without introducing herself, without saying hello, simply with the objective of getting me out of her way as soon as possible. To make matters worse, when I asked her for her name later she told me that she did not need to provide that information to me. After the bad encounter with Justine who made me feel like an unwanted guest who was being kicked out of a really expensive cheap hotel, I reached out to the head RN Tammie. Before I was half way through my story she cut me off and asked scornfully "ok, so what do you want us to do about it?" I suggested she can start by listening to me finish. Tammie then told me that she had already gotten the story from Justine and there was nothing more to be done. I was shocked and expressed that the experience has left me feeling sicker than when I initially came in. Tammie then said without hesitation that if that's the case then "YOURE WELCOMED TO GO TO THE FRONT AND READMIT YOURSELF." She then proceeded to follow me all the way to the exist of the ER as if escorting me out. I was absolutely flabbergasted. I feel that people like Tammie and Justine not only lack bedside manners but are missing the minimal amount of compassion that make you human. They are definitely not fit to be RNs and their presence at this hospital make me feel unsafe and hesitant to ever return. I also feel bad for the patients who do not know how to speak up for themselves when they are treated poorly. As long as there are people like Tammie and Justine in the healthcare system, patients wellbeing will continue to be jeopardized. I won't forget to mention that Dr. Choi and the MA who attended to me was absolutely wonderful, and I made sure the hospital knew as well. They are the only reason I am...
