Went in on a whim, and I'm so happy I did! As someone who can't do gel anything without ending up in the ER, it has become rather difficult to get a good mani and Pedi these days. Even when I say no gel of any kind, I either get harassed to upgrade to gel, have a sloppy job done, given major attitude or even told that they've never heard of anyone being allergic to gel products. I LOVEEEEE a good mani and Pedi, but the past year, I've just been doing them myself; THAT IS until I found E-Nail on 3rd Ave. I've been walking past them for a good 6 months before clocking that they were a nail spa🤣. From being welcomed by Jackie, the front desk person, to having my first Pedi done my Mimi, and a basic dip mani by Ling, I knew I was coming back. They're not loud or excessively chatty. They listen to what you want and don't forcibly upsell to you. It's clean and though there are places that are cheaper, for the quality and convenience I'm staying. It's super easy to schedule or just walk in. They have a wide range of services and products. I absolutely enjoy having a Pedi done by Maggie, she revives and refreshes my hooves like none other and is just the sweetest. But the superstar is Rachel, she CONSISTENTLY gives me the most meticulous, cleanest, and bomb dip powder manicures. She is quick, but that does not take away from the quality of her work. I mean, no overcoming of cuticles, no pain, nothing except flawlessly fabulous nails that last a whole 30 days (yes, I put them to the test)! I love a good nail design but had resigned myself to just plain jane Manis as apparently every one else has to use gel to a design. NOT Rachel, she hooked me up with the snazziest, glitter ombre nails of my dreams for my birthday and had me staring at them the whole way home. She never fails, and knowing that my nails are sensitive she never gets any product on my skin, ever!! Even when i break my natural nails and go in with stubs, she somehow slays them without having to add extensions. She's the MVP in my nail world! It's been a while since I've looked forward to getting my nails done but I count down the days when I have to go back. Oh yes, don't forget the punch card rewards! And the happy hour prices when...
Read moreI’ve been visiting this nail salon for the past few months now. I have gotten dip extensions to just dip on regular nails and they never stay on for more than 10 days without one chipping or completely falling off. The first time I got my nails done 5 of them completely fell off before I headed back to the salon to give them a second chance with dip since I’ve heard so many great things. I was very wrong. Second time dip was also about the same experience but a little better since I kept them shorter and it was on my bare nails. However I do give credit to this place for their gel since my first time I did gel it stayed on for 2 weeks completely chip free. Quality does depend on who you get as the first time I ever visited they put 2 of my nail extensions on crooked and I didn’t notice until I left. My 4th time visiting I was told by their male receptionist over the phone that my technician could do nail art and when I showed a very basic design of a few twinkles my nail tech completely disagreed she could not do that. The communication between the team needs to be better here. I also speak and understand Chinese and the team was gossiping how much to charge me when they were there right in front of me doing a different nail art design. I find this very unprofessional considering I was being lied to in the first place about them being able to do nail art. I guess this is a lesson learned that I will only be coming to this place to do...
Read moreI stumbled across this store for the first time a few months ago and thought they did a really good job. I came back to get my nails done again even though it’s far from where I live. I got a gel mani and regular pedicure. It looked terrible. I had to come back the next day so they can fix it. The lady who was working the front desk took photos of both my feet and hands and offered to fix them and apologized about how it looked. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to fix my hands, which were going to take longer to soak and redo. They fixed my toenails and I told them I will try to come back when I have time for my hands. I live far away and work very long hours and don’t have time to come back-and-forth to get my nails done. My fingernails on top of looking terrible started to chip 3 days in. When I got time the next week I gave them a call and asked about coming in to get them redone. I was told I would be charged 50%, which is ridiculous. Why would I pay more money after they messed up my nails. They were aware of the problem from the start. The inconsistency and poor customer service should be a turn off for any customer that’s considering this store. It’s been a terrible experience. A waste of...
