FastLights Lighting & Grip, NYC — Local services in New York

I reached out to FastLights Lighting & Grip with quite the request and they handled it with ease! I needed to pick up gear in Boston, but return it in NYC 5 wks later with a down week in the mix. We also needed weekend pick ups, late night returns and even threw an extra wrench in the works of having to add on and take off items of our order in another city.

Ben has been right there every step of the way, doing whatever he could to make things run smooth. Anyone in production knows that our lives are always changing, and to not have to stress about this was such a relief.

Just shot a short film in MA and hired a grip van and gaffer/key grip, Nick, from FastLights. Can't say enough good things about Nick--great attitude and work ethic, made our lives so much easier, and was easygoing in the face of last minute issues (especially important with a small crew). On our last day of shooting our follow focus (which was rented in NY, from a different company) failed, and FastLights came through for us in a pinch--they got us a new one in a half hour.
