I came here to see a band scheduled at 8:30, and the band never got to go on because venue management let a different band set up for an hour instead. I wasted 2 hours waiting for nothing. The booking manager was not at the venue, which is also incredibly unprofessional. I heard a rumor that any new bands don't get to go on unless they tip the staff extra, so it sounds like the crew is trying to make extra $ on the side when unsupervised. Drinks are priced like a fancy cocktail bar, but the place is hot, cramped, and has only one bathroom. Staff looked bored, bartenders were on their phones, and when you finally order, you’re met with attitude.
The management seems more concerned with looking important than creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s ambitious on the surface, but in practice it feels unorganized and out of touch.
