Just got a Fill In. This is my 3rd time visiting this Nail Salon. The Owner is Extremely Rude & Dismissive !! She nicked my cuticle and then when I asked if she had antiseptic...she acted as if she couldn't understand me. I tell her its burning & bleeding a tiny bit and she keeps going. Then once she applies my gel...I notice that the nails on my right hand are bigger than the nails on my left hand. I show her and ask her if she can file them down to make them more narrow like the other hand. She says No, it's too Late. I tell her I don't like that the nails are so wide...she begins to Look out the window as if she doesn't hear me !! Who Does That ???? What kind of Biz are you Running ? Customer Service is Everything !! Once she put the gel on the nails...then it became very noticeable that the nails were too wide. The Owner has Poor Communication...No Customer Service & a Nasty Attitude !! I work in the community and will be sure to let my entire staff of women know how I was treated in this Establishment. Perhaps the OWNER could use Training on Customer service & how to Maintain your customers & build a good Rapport with people. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt...in Spite of all the Negative things I've heard about the owner. The other ladies are all very nice, pleasant & they actually do a better job than her !! However, I will Not return to spend another dollar in this place. Unacceptable !!! The Owner Needs an Attitude Adjustment !! Never Again !!! NO BUENO !! BTW, I Also understand Spanish. Blacks & Hispanics come in all Shades...you never know who speaks / understands Spanish soo watch what...
Read moreRead this and your toes will thank you. Have you ever had to leave a nail salon because tears your eyes teared up? I kid you not... and I've had hundreds of pedicures. The nail technician literally cut the left side of my big toe toenail down vertically by about 3 cm. (I know you shouldn't do that because it can cause ingrown toenails.) The pain was when she was ripping out the side. I knew she was being rough but because of the language barrier I didn't to try to say anything. I was desperate for a pedi so I was trying to tough it out. I did wince and finally try to say the cutting hurt. It didn't really help and as she was half the way through I let her continue.
In the end I had to get up and leave. Now that I'm home and can see my toes closer, I can't even describe the mess that they are. Besides the big toe toenail, the others are all jacked up too. The big toe and two others look like they are on the verge of bleeding. I can't even bring myself to try painting them for fear of the polish stinging.
This whole experience was so bad it has brought me to post this review. Mind you this is my third time ever posting reviews, so you know it's bad.
If you ask my opinion, I say stay away and save yourself the...
Read moreFor a long time I was going to nail salon far away from my home, and once I saw there is a new one super close to me I got really excited. When they first opened I went and had a mediocre experience with mediocre nails. That was sooo long ago. Next time I decided to try again, the lady that did my nails (twice more after that time because I had to go somewhere close) didn’t spoke English. I tried so hard to explain to her what I meant and clearly she was trying to understand me. Also there were two times when I had to remove gel prior to apply a new set and she began removing the gel and didn’t finish so I was left with new gel on old gel leftovers, also she was polishing my nails and it really hurt my under nails started bleeding. One time there was a drop of gel coat on my finger and when I put my hand in the UV it started burning so bad that the lady had to peel it from my finger. Everything I went there the lady who did my nails just let me with my hand inside the UV machine for sooo long while she was on her phone.
I gave this place two stars for their effort because they do try really hard to please you but there are so many things...
