Five Below — Local services in New York

Brand new store under 6 months so 2 stars seems fair given the consistency of bad experience. Last one I walked in there at 7:25. Store closes at 8 pm. I was told we close in five minutes. I only needed to grab something quick. Knew where it was. Was down stairs online for more then 30 minutes. They were in such a rush to get people out but insisted on having only one cashier who was slow as paint drying. If you had closed out the cash part of your till you could have opened the second register as card only. The manager insisted on standing on at the door to guard people from coming in. There were other team members upstairs Lord knows what they were doing because they most certainly are not facing the store because every time you walk in there no matter what time of the day it is it's a hot disaster. And seriously unless you're meeting EOD by 12 noon most of you are not going to have a job past Christmas. This is piss poor management of a store that had a lot of potential. But honestly why do I want to shop in another store to stock and ran the way Dollar tree is. Get it together five below. Bushwick don't need another store just taking up retail space for...

The store is always empty with hardly any merchandise. You're the ONLY local 5 dollar below, recently opened and barely stocked up. This place could be a success if manager would actually order things for the store and HIRE people who WANT TO WORK. Stop hiring these 25 and under who don't want to work these days and have horrible customer service. Be on top of all these people having their kids destroy merchandise too, yell at them and have them pay for damaged goods. Have more than 1 register open and hire a damn security guard. People are going to end up going elsewhere to another location because this one fails to have items, fails for customer service and workers and fails to keep up their store in top shape. At this rate, just opened but because you're failing your store location, you'll end up closing when this could've been such a success here in Bushwick if...

I only put one star because I have to . This store is the worsts shopping experience ever. It doesn’t feel like a store u can browse and enjoy , it feels like a ware house with items just tossed around on shelves. The whole entire staff is completely rude , I’ve waited for months to right this review, I have been shopping there since it first open . I was optimistic of the store becoming a huge hit and being very friendly down line due to it just opening . But nope it just became worse . The staff act very Hollywood like greeting a customer is a plague. They also answer the survey questions for u on the keypad instead of you giving your actual opinion on greeting service .
