We headed to Lou’s after dinner at Rolo’s—it’s about a 20-minute walk, which wasn’t bad at all. A friend recommended it since she comes here often and knows the bartender. Lou’s is very much a neighborhood bar, and it gets packed. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff handles the crowds like pros, fast, attentive, and efficient no matter how busy it gets. You can tell this isn’t their first rodeo. Drinks are cheap (always a plus), but pro tip: it’s cash only. Luckily, they’ve got an ATM inside with just a small service fee. Extra shoutout to their regular, Delaney, who jumped in to challenge the twins to a game of billiards super fun to watch! Just note there’s only one pool table, so expect a wait. In the meantime, there’s a dart board to keep things moving, and the blasting music keeps the energy high! Overall, a lively, no-frills bar with great vibes, perfect if you’re looking for an old-school neighborhood hangout.

Overall rating: 4.7 CASH ONLY. I had this place saved to try for awhile because their drinks are very affordable and I wanted to go on a bushwick bar crawl. While the drinks were affordable, a little bit too far from everywhere else. Def more of a well groomed local spot. The drinks were good , but seems more of a group hang than a spot to pregame. Not sure if I’d go again, but it is worth giving it a try. Especially if you live in the area! There’s also a gigantic projector tv in the back which was very surprising & a lot of TVs in the front. It’s giving sports bar that’s not dive.

New favorite bar in New York! Affordable drinks (try the hockey toddy if you’re reading this in the winter) The perfect mixture of giant booths and bar seating for big groups of friends/birthdays or a cute date night. Lighting and music are perfect. One of the few film photo booths in the country so you can get a pic with your friends while you play pool and darts. I’m not a big sports person but I’m sure sports fans particularly appreciate the schedule of games they play which they post on Instagram in advance.

This place is fantastic, a standout sports bar that is also just a comfortable place to hang out. They have tons of room, lots of cozy booths, and plenty of bar seating. The back room is huge and has a nice pool table with enough room to maneuver around. The draft list is concise, and has a $6 Coors Light which is sometimes all you want. The food is also good! The wings were serviceable for a snack but the standout was the sausage and peppers, which really hit the spot.

We came to watch the NBA Finals and this place didn't disappoint. The bar didn't seem slammed and the staff was kind and were quick and attentive to ask for another round or to fill out a food order. It's a great bar and I hope they have a long history...
