I would not recommend shopping here this place is very dishonest with their advertised prices. We bought drinks that said $2 for 5 when we got to the cash register, the drinks were rang up for 2.50 each, the owner of the company said that the drinks were $5 for 2 even though the sign said something totally different, They also had a sign that for chips on sale, ketchup, and bbq sauces that were also wrote in the same manner. This store is scamming people and does not offer good customer service, the workers are good but the owner of the store is very dishonest and does not recognize how a store owner should conduct his establishment

Stopped in with my team as we raced around the island of Manhattan. The store was very nicely laid out and the employees were busy restocking in some aisles. It was great seeing the international aisles featuring Caribbean, Latino, and Hispanic Staples. The meat section was quite inviting, but that's not what we were looking for. Huge thanks to the store manager, Primo, for making us feel welcome and pointing the team to the beverages and snacks we needed before we continued with our event.

I used to like this place a lot but after this of bag of mold quinoa. I’m just going to transport my groceries from midtown myself.

This CTown provides an AWFUL shopping experience. It is extremely difficult to walk through because the ownership of the store places towers of products inside the ALREADY NARROW aisles. As if this was not enough, they are ALWAYS STAGING new products during business hours. This means that the aisles are full of boxed products being staged by supermarket employees as you shop around them. But these inconveniences are JUST THE BEGINNING of what is bad at this store.

They force you to check your personal shopping carts at the entrance of the store but they do not have a sensible system to make sure that your cart is not stolen while you shop. The tokens they give you to "claim" your cart when you are done shopping are NOTHING BUT CARDBOARD CUTOUTS WRITTEN WITH A SHARPIE. They have someone checking your carts at the entrance but that person has numerous OTHER responsibilities that distract him from the checking system. EVERY time that I have gone to retrieve my cart, after finishing my shopping, the token guy is NEVER available, so I just unpin the token from my own cart and return the tokens to the plastic container they store them in. Nothing will stop anyone from stealing one of these carts. God forbid you leave anything of value inside them while you shop!

Sometime in 2024, they expanded the store. They set up cashier stations in the new space but, after only a few weeks, they shut them down! So, even if you do most of your shopping in the expanded produce section, you still have to go back, to the original half of the store to pay for your groceries. The cashier stations in the produce section just sit there, unmanned.

The floors of this supermarket are torn up in various parts of the store, sending the message that ownership does not care what their store looks like or how customers might feel as they shop there.

HALF the products in the store do not have proper price tags on them and they have MAYBE one price scanner in the whole store. Is this even legal? For many of their products, you cannot find out how much they actually cost until you are at the pay register. The store is utterly disorganized to the point where it resembles more of a dump than a supermarket in the 21st century...

Please get cashiers that actually want to do their job. The middle aged lady who is in the last register TODAY truly needs to get a job that she actually wants to do if shes going to make her customers visit a hassle when it shouldnt be. First of all, my card wasnt swiping through so clearly it had be entered manually. It literally takes a couple of seconds to do but maybe she didnt have the mental capacity to insert the numbers but the attitude she gave me once it had to be entered like such was unacceptable. I go back to get a couple more items & it just so happens i get her again. Luckily this time i had cash or I wouldve been met with the same nasty attitude. AFTER all of my items are paid for she asks me if i want a bag…. Shouldnt you ask that before the purchase is paid for? I wasted all my cash on the groceries and only had my card but guess what? Apparently bags can only be paid for in cash so I had to carry my groceries 5 blocks away in my hands!!! With my groceries literally falling out of my hands. If she wouldve simply let me know that bags can only be purchased with cash i wouldve paid for some of my groceries with my credit card & simple no problem. Today is not the first day i recieve attitude from this specific lady but it is the final straw. The owner is great but this cashier needs to go. GET PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DO...

Went there at around 5 PM to speak to an employee about the pricing, & if they had cakes, pies, chocolate cookies, & ice cream. I was not shopping, but wanted a little bit of information on how much would it cost there for this stuff. I know NYC has gone up like crazy, & Fine Fare Supermarkets is WOW! Way to expensive. The guy I spoke to kept saying what items do you want to know about? I told him multiple times already until I asked to speak to a different employee. I spoke to another male employee who before I even got a full sentence out he said I don't know. Speak to someone else. So I did. The other one was the Assistant Manager. Nasty attitude. He was speaking to me as if I am a child who needs a spanking or something. I just left, & before that I said employees here need to learn what good manners are. I will go in shopping, (if it's less as expensive) & won't be asking questions next time. No need for the rudeness. They have to put the prices by the actual products that there for. Stuff is pretty disorganized there. A few good employee's, but most are not. Pretty rude....
