After a fantastic walk that left us famished, we stumbled upon Inwood Bar and Grill—a spot highly recommended by my partner’s coworkers. They wasted no time in seating us, and it turns out Sundays here are all about brunch. They made sure we were up for brunch before finding us a table. Two brunch options were on offer: one for $19.95 and the other for $39.95, which includes booze. Since we’re not drinkers, our meal came with a choice of soda or a killer pineapple or passion fruit drink. Trust me, the latter was mind-blowing! The $19.95 deal hooked us up with an app, soup or salad, a hearty main course, and a sweet treat. I went with the classic Caesar salad, followed by salmon and yuca fries. Gotta say, those yuca fries were something else—absolutely delish! The salmon was a tad dry, but it didn’t ruin the party. My partner enjoyed a plate of penne alfredo with juicy shrimp. Oh, and I sneaked a couple of bites of that alfredo, and damn, it was pure delight on my taste buds. Surprise, surprise! We didn’t even know dessert was included, but like a book I can’t put down, I couldn’t resist digging into it. They brought out this amazing flan, and boy, was it good! My partner couldn’t finish theirs, so you can bet I’m snagging that for tomorrow’s little treat. Now, let me give you the scoop on a few highlights. The folks working here are beyond friendly—like next-level kindness. Table bussing is on point, so if you hesitate for a second, your plate might disappear before you can blink. The vibe is casual, with people rocking their comfy outfits. And hey, there’s even a security guard in the back, probably keeping an eye on a neighboring hotspot. We showed up in our workout gear, but next time, we’ll be ready to party! All things considered, I’m giving Inwood Bar and Grill a solid four stars. We had a blast, the food was tasty, and the crew was top-notch. If only they could dial down the dryness of the salmon, this place would be a five-star paradise.

Inwood Bar and Grill is a place that's easy to miss if you're not paying attention. Located on a quiet street in the northernmost tip of Manhattan, it's not the kind of place that draws in tourists or foodies from other parts of the city. But for the locals who know about it, Inwood Bar and Grill is a hidden gem that's worth seeking out. The vibe here is relaxed and unpretentious, with a mix of families, couples, and groups of friends all mingling together. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it's cozy and welcoming, with wooden tables and chairs, exposed brick walls, and dim lighting that sets the mood for a casual evening out. The menu at Inwood Bar and Grill is classic American fare, with a few unexpected twists thrown in for good measure. Start off with the buffalo wings, which are crispy and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. Then move on to the burger, which is juicy and cooked to perfection, or the grilled cheese sandwich, which comes with a surprising and delicious addition of caramelized onions. But what really sets Inwood Bar and Grill apart is the atmosphere. There's a sense of community here that's hard to find in other parts of the city. The bartenders know their regulars by name, and the waitstaff are friendly and personable, striking up conversations with diners and making them feel right at home. All in all, Inwood Bar and Grill is a place that's worth seeking out, whether you're a local looking for a casual night out or a tourist who wants to experience a slice of authentic New York City. It may not have the glitz and glamour of some of the more high-end restaurants in the city, but sometimes, all you need is a good meal and a friendly atmosphere to make for a memorable night out.

As of late I'm realizing that I have been late to the party more often then not. I'm gonna say 3yrs of the "panoramic" has put me off my game. However, as I penned this review I'm giving more then a few of my Yelp friends some serious side-eye because they knew about this place for years and didn't put me on... shameful! Nonetheless, I made it to IB&G for lunch the other day and I was pleasantly surprised by a few things. First by how big and spacious it is and secondly how nice and gracious everyone was. Lastly and most importantly how good the food was and how much they give for their very discounted lunch menu. They have lunch special where most dishes are only $5 until 4pm and also Happy Hour all day up until 8pm. Not only is the price surprising but so is the decent serving size. In my party of three the orders were: -Chicken Fillet in Pepper Sauce Lunch w/ Arroz Amarillo (my dish) -Roasted Chicken Lunch w/ Arroz Blanco -Fried Pork Chops Lunch w/ Arroz Blanco ($7) All the dishes were accompanied by a side Habichuelas (beans). The food was extremely tasted. I particularly enjoyed the chicken in pepper sauce, it was totally different from how it was described by our lovely waitress Yury. That's not a complaint she was great and she tried to describe it the best she could (English is her 2nd language). Overall a great lunch experience with some good options. I would have preferred that the temp on my dish was much hotter but that's just me. As well as the white sangria was better then the red, again my preference. Just A Note: Not every lunch dish is $5 some are a couple of bucks more. Please note the lunch specials are for Dine-In, the price differs for To-Go orders.

I used to come here all the time pre covid & it was always good. We came back recently because we know this place is cute and quick with service. On The weekends front receptionist are always abit rude but thankfully we got to sit in the back by the outside area and our server was nice and very attentive. If you are pregnant it’s probably not a good place for you to be because it’s almost like a lounge vibe with hookahs and a whole bunch of people standing everywhere which makes it hard for people not to hit you by accident. Parking: Its always bad it’s dyckman that’s something to be expected. Go early and look for parking or just take a cab. Music: 5/5 always great! Drinks: Virgin passion fruit mojito was nasty tasted like soda. Virgin Piña colada was soo good better without alcohol to be honest. Martinis my friend loved them and ordered like 3 not sure the flavor tho. Appetizer: chips and guac was good and had a lot of flavor. Chicken Croquettes - they were ok could’ve been more fried for a better taste Food: I ordered chicken & shrimp Alfredo pasta and it was good which I was surprised because not all Spanish restaurants make good Alfredo everything was cooked well. My friend ordered Seafood Sailboat (basically a sweet plantain with a combo of seafood inside) she said flavor was good but she didn’t like how it barely had any sweet plantain to even to mix together better. So it was just so much seafood not enough side to mix with it. Overall: bill was extremely expensive. Over $200 & they added 18% gratuity to a 2 person table. But I guess everything really is expensive now n days.

It is a nice place ,ambience is relaxed it has a fair space and comfortable seats even though the table where I was sitting on the back was too high and the seat super low,my waiters “Jorge”was nice ,friendly and professional, they have a good variety of drinks ,wine was perfect!,menu is very wide,I ordered Chicken Tenders and Coconut Shrimps as “Entree” the ”Shrimps”were good, but the chicken tenders were “Tasteless” and they put “Ketchup” on the side of my plate please don’t do that !as a customer I’m the only one who knows what I like or don’t you are supposed to either bring it in a bottle if you don’t (have it on the table )or on in a small container you !but ok no problem I ordered a ”Grilled Chicken Breast “ ”Newyork Strip Steak”same problem “Tasteless” so I had to ask for “Salt And Pepper” (wich they don’t have on the table)I “Chimichurri Sause )was delicious !and that did came in a small container,I don’t get it,my salad was full of a “Regular Supermaket Fake Italian Dressing”,I was never asked wich type of dressing I wanted first neither if I wanted on my salad!wich I didn’t,food wise I was very dissapointed ,however they had nice live music by(EmiAntonioMusic)wich I loved, and I will only come back for that ,wine or drinks to be honest.Thanks.

UPDATE 8/18/22 I have been here hundreds of times since my last review, and I just wanted to say that they’ve done nothing but up their game! Good food, new additions to the menu, great music, DJ’s, drinks, brunch menu deals etc they mix it up often and make the place a lot better. I highly recommend this establishment! I've been to Inwood Bar and Grill twice now. It has a great atmosphere, great decor and lots of flatscreen televisions. I've gone twice on Saturdays and after a certain hour the place turns into a sort of "club" with a DJ or band playing which is really cool. The food has been delicious both times I've been there and I haven't been disappointed either time. The specialty drinks are good as well as their Frozen Margarita's. Awesome prices I might add compliment this awesome place, mix crowd etc. By the way, I do have one gripe. The waiter I had last night (2/11/17) was a bit disrespectful as I made a slight complaint about my dish and while in the middle of talking he turned around and walked away. I won't rate the place less then 5 stars because of the actions of one person, and all it took was for me to ask for another waiter and all was well afterwards.
