I was excited to visit this shop, but to my surprise the experience was just awful! I entered the store on Sunday 11/8 around 4pm. There was no one at the door to greet me. I could see two employees in the back, who were on their phones. There was no one else in the store.
I browsed about the space for a couple minutes and still no one spoke. I ended up towards the rare of the store, where I was finally greeted by the guy working. There was also a women present, who just never spoke at all.
I walked around some more, no assistance was offered. No one asked what I was looking for? No one showed me any products or even asked if I needed anything. This was awkward because there was no in the store. I asked the guy for a size 45 in one of the superstars. He said he would check to see.
When he returned, he said the largest size available was a 44. He didn't offer to check another store. He didn't suggest another style. Didn't ask if I wanted to try something else. Nothing! Which was disappointing, because I was itching to purchase something. So, I looked around some more, again without any help, until I decided to just leave.
I was expecting more effort from the staff, but they clearly were not interested in doing much. I got better service from the Golden Goose Outlet in Woodbury, last week. It definitely is challenging to be selling in this climate, but at least act like you care. I'm sure there is tons of unemployed people out there that would love to be working at GG and would give 110%! Besides Golden Goose is not cheap....
Read moreI used to shop at the store all the time... my last several visits were very unpleasant, so I have avoided the store but I have still been following the brand online. Over the last few years, the staff began slowly changing and getting progressively worse, which is the opposite of what should happen in a successful global company like GG....
This morning, I gave the soho store a call to inquire about some details. WOW!!! The woman who answered the phone the most horrible tone and was not warm or welcoming at all. She was reluctant to answer my questions or give me any helpful information. The conversation was like pulling teeth which is the opposite of what should happen when you call a business for their goods or services. This is such a shock!
The previous team members would send me personal text messages/photos. Besides this anytime I called, the staff members were very polite and helpful PLUS they always had extensive knowledge and detailed product information. Not sure how such a successful company is keeping on such terrible employees. It seems like they’re expanding too quickly and have absolutely no control over what’s going on in...
Read moreSo I wanted to share my experience, I was so excited to come to the store, knowing that they had bespoke shoes that could be made here. Upon my entry, nobody helped me in any way, shape or form. I had to find a sales associate, although he was somewhat friendly, his answers were very short and to the point, but seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered .So I walked downstairs to check out the bespoke area. Walking around for 10 to 15 minutes not a single person asked me if I need help. I managed to speak to one of the guys at the table and once once again, he answered my questions, but you could tell he didn’t want to be bothered . So finally, when I went upstairs, I once again had to find somebody to give me help, and the other person once again, didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered. The lady in front who is at the table designing Shoes did smile at me in a friendly manner. Definitely not a good...
