Let me start by saying I've been going to Lori for facials for over a year and have referred multiple people to her, some of whom have also become regular clients. A few weeks ago I missed my first appointment, which is admittedly my fault and for which I apologized. But the way Lori spoke to me about it that day was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would also like to state that this review is not about the money, it's about treating people with respect.
In the past I've noticed Lori's people skills have been lacking at times, but she's always been nice to me. That day it felt like she had no idea who I was! Her tone of voice was hostile and, to be frank, it was mean. I felt like I was being reprimanded by a parent. I was out with someone at the time of the call and they heard the whole thing. It was embarrassing the way her voice rose when she scolded me about how much money I was costing her. I am an ADULT. I do not need the lecture. I apologized again and told her to charge me. That should have been the end of the discussion, but it was not. She continued to chew me out. At the end of the call I was in shock.
I took the time to think it over and came to the conclusion that I don't need to go back to Lori's business and surround myself with that negative energy. I've worked in the service industry for years so I don't take posting a negative comment online lightly either. However, in this situation I felt it necessary. She needs to know she cannot talk to her clients this way. I have NEVER done that to a client, even ones that were repeat cancellation offenders. Everyone has a life that you don't know about. Things happen and the way you deal with them is really what matters.
Lori has lost not only me as a client, but the others I had referred to her now. I hope in the future she handles her temper a little better when someone has made an honest mistake....
Read moreThis was the best facial I’ve ever had. I booked the classic facial but this felt like a very customized, thorough and elevated service formulated to my specific skin needs. Lori explained to me the types of issues my skin was having and how to best treat them. She also asked about my diet, age and line of work to see how all of these factors play into the condition of my skin. Caffeine, dairy and sugar are not good. I did not know that.
Her products are high end, though she didn’t push me to buy them, I wanted to take every piece of advice, and her products, because she’s obviously extremely educated in this area.
While the facial on its own was wonderful, Lori provides all the other elements of the experience with class and great taste. Great music, great smelling products (even the steam that comes out of the machine smelled like it was lightly scented with something natural and relaxing), and a lovely massage.

Lori works miracles - magical touch, expert knowledge, and long-lasting results - always without pushing products on me. This review is for Diana though, had my usual hydra-brasian facial with her last week. I admit I was apprehensive about having someone else (other than Lori) but my experience was nothing short of exceptional and I'm now happy to have another option at Good Face for my facials!
Diana is clearly skilled - thorough from a to b, soothing vibe, gentle touch, excellent extractions (tolerable and almost pain-free) - I walked out glowing. If you usually go to Lori, and/or are a new client, in both cases you will be VERY happy after a facial with Diana. Still thinking about her facial massage too...
