This place is great if you are looking for mediocre cocktails and condescending managers. Their whiskey list is super short so don't expect anything special there. Our bartender was Heather and while she was great there is nothing else great here. After realizing their whiskey list fit on an 11x4 list I should've known what was to come. There's a game room in the back and it quotes if you score 450 on skee ball you get a free draft beer. Low and behold I hit that number. Simultaneously our machine wouldn't stop spitting out balls after we swiped our card. Worried we were getting charged more than the expected $5 the bartender stated we shouldn't use cards and only cash. Great solution! Then I asked for my free draft beer and was given a can instead even after I questioned it.
Frustrated with this guys complete lack of respect for customers, I embarrassingly threatened a 1 Star review, here it is, and walked away. Then the, I'm assuming bar manager, Jo Jo, came over to try and make things right. She brought me a draft beer. Gee thanks! Not before some condescending comments like "if giving us a 1 Star will help you sleep at night, go for it", or "there are some people we throw out for bad behavior." And my personal favorite, "you know some of our bartenders are on their 5th day working in a row". Wow didn't know working five days in a row was so difficult.
Long story long, avoid this place. They don't deserve to have whiskey in their name and they don't deserve...

Read moreWow. So Yelp tells me this is the only place in the area with the kitchen open late. So I show up with my 4 friends to come down here and have a burger as thier website had a decent menu and kitchen was confirmed open late. Now the man at the door (when I asked for his name he refused and said he would only tell me his name is security) would not let us in because "The owners have a policy of any group of three or more males to not be serviced."
I was shocked and disgusted because it was pretty clear what he was trying to say.
I don't know if this is an anti-gay thing or just an anti-minority thing but I am very offended.
The security guard would not tell me his name. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as he was just doing his job which I understand. However their website states that "ONE OWNER IS ALWAYS THERE!" And when I asked to speak to an owner of manager he refused. I highly doubt that in 2016 this place does not have a manager on the premise. There's way too many restaurants in the Brooklyn to be having to be dealing with this type of segregation and behavior. They do not deserve anyone's business because that is absolutely absurd to have such segregation policies for your...
