McCarren Park Dog Run — Attraction in New York

Not a huge fan of this dog park. Lots of poop everywhere and people have super rowdy dogs that they don't know how to control. It's just a bunch of dirt so your dog gets FILTHY. There are too many toys everywhere which can be annoying- I bring my dog to socialize with other dogs, but if there are toys that's all she cares about. Maybe that's more of a personal issue, but I really prefer no toys because they're just covered in mud anyway. So yeah.. not a huge fan...

The dogs are great here, but this park is terrible even by NY’s low standards. This is McCarren park ffs there’s hundreds of millions of dollars of property surrounding it and all they have is a dog park with no water and filled with dirt that gets all in your eyes and mouth so you have to wear goggles and a face mask just so you can breath. It’s embarrassing really. I have no idea why this place has such high ratings. Hope they’ll make some...

My favorite dog park in Brooklyn. It's just the right size for owners to be aware what the dogs are up to but also big enough for them to get a good run in. There is an area for smaller dogs and then there is an area for larger or medium sized dogs which makes a lot of sense. Especially on the weekends it gets a bit more crowded but you'll always find a good crowd of dogs there whenever you go. Enjoy! Your NYC apartment dog...
