I have never seen a debit card requiring a minimum of $10 to use Apple Pay in any other supermarket. They also claimed that it's the same everywhere in the US, but I have only seen credit cards requiring a minimum of $10. Maybe the female cashier with black-framed glasses couldn't tell the difference between credit and debit. In the end, I paid with cash and split the payment with my friend. I saw my friend's price and thought I needed to pay 2 more cents to get exact change, but then she suddenly said, "I told you to pay together earlier, why are you so slow to react?"
