It’s been about 10 years and I’m writing this because I am still dealing with issues. The doctor and his doctor wife operate at this practice and the one and only time I saw his wife she made an alteration to my wire and my two front teeth aren’t symmetrical. Ones longer than the other. There’s glue on my teeth til this day from when the brackets were removed my teeth were also now filed or shaved down. I don’t recommend if you are a person of color because I definitely saw the difference in the way I was treated versus the other clients. Dr. Gottfried was my orthodontist years ago and was negligent with my care. After removing my braces and giving me my retainer, he refused to remove the cement on my teeth from the braces, claiming it way my dentist’s responsibility. My dentist, and other professionals I’ve asked, all told me it is the orthodontist’s responsibility to remove the cement. 5 years later and I’m stuck in this loop and can’t get my cement removed as no one wants to take responsibility.
