A must visit at the end of your time at the Guggenheim. There are two stores in the building, one on the ground floor, which you have to go through to exit the building and another on, I think, Level 3. The store is beautifully laid out and although expensive, I was not leaving without a memento and I found the perfect piece. 4 carved and painted artist characters - Dali, Kahlo, Warhol and Van Gogh. However, I was tempted with so many other beautifully made items. Cards, notebooks, mobiles, scarves, textiles, jewellery, and much, much more. The selection of modern and contemporary books were particularly enticing. I'm pleased that they also endeavour to support socially responsible artisans. For me, it is a must to visit the Guggenheim store and Tele home with you a reminder of this amazing Museum. Thank you to the staff. who were very helpful.

The Guggenheim Museum Store in New York City is a refined destination for art enthusiasts seeking unique, high-quality items. Located on the museum’s first floor, the store offers a curated selection of art books, exhibition catalogs, and design-focused gifts. While some visitors note that items can be on the pricier side, the offerings are often praised for their exclusivity and artistic value. The store’s ambiance reflects the museum’s commitment to art and design, making it a worthwhile stop for those looking to bring a piece of the Guggenheim experience home.

Fantastic gift shop. Many interesting items. Definitely need to fight impulse buying because lots of cool things will pull on your wallet! I just went in to take a look since was walking by and spent 100+ dollars in the 10 minutes I spent in the store, so about 10+ dollars a minute 🙃 All gifts so worth the smiles all day everyday, yes. Enjoy 😉

I live in Miami Florida and together with my wife we planned our trip to New York almost a year in advance, one of my focal points was visiting the Guggenheim museum, and getting to know all the exhibition halls, their structure and all their spaces, the day Friday, April 9, we went to the museum and to be honest I was very satisfied with the experience of the visit, and the truth is that each and every one of the people with whom I had the opportunity to interact was very kind, with the exception of the person who works in the museum store specifically at the cash register, once we left the museum we wanted to buy something to remember our visit, at some point during my tour of the store, I was verbally assaulted by this person whose name I do not know, and I was taken from the store shouting because my mask fell off my nose, I did not allow time or even to explain what was happening, I did not want to start an argument, which is why, I Left from the store in silence, but quite annoyed by the rude and aggressive attitude of this person, which contrasts with all the kindness that exists inside the museum. I fully understand the sanitary regulations and the care that we must take in these days of a pandemic, however I also understand and am aware that there are ways of saying things, and showing kindness does not cost anything, especially with people who pay a ticket to enter to the museum and in our particular case we flew more than three hours to finally get to know it.

This bitter experience does not detract from my pleasant visit to the museum at all, but at this particular point, I believe that this person should receive some kind of preparation to be able to serve the visitors, who in short contribute in some way to the payment of their salary. .

A big...
