I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to leave a review for this place because I’m hooked. As someone with a lot of thin, dry, kinky/curly hair, it’s almost impossible to find stylists that can actually do a good job with it, whether that’s a hair cut or any type of treatment. But this place was a gem I stumbled upon after years of struggling with my hair and paying a lot of money on treatments that didn’t work. Now, here I am two months later after getting my keratin treatment with Leah and I’ve never loved my hair this much! I grew up having to cut my hair, almost close enough to shaving it, to styling my hair and taking care of it in ways I didn’t think possible. My hair is now hydrated, healthy, and a lot easier to manage, plus I get a lot of compliments whether I leave it curly or do it straight now! PS. I came all the way from Texas to visit family here and just had to come back to do my hair because I love them so much!

Aside from them being amazing at hair, going to this salon is like going to your family on Christmas, they’re so homey and loving and so easy to open up to (and I’m an introvert). I say “them” because the entire staff is absolutely fabulous. They don’t just do your hair, they study it, advise you, and give you tips on how to take care of your hair without you even asking. I remember the owner once saw my eyebrows being curly and all over the place and he came up to me while I’m getting my hair done and offered to fix them up for me free of charge, it’s something I didn’t expect but admired because you can see how much they care. They’re not after your money like most other places, they genuinely want you to feel your best as you get nothing less than the best. It was my first and will be last visit at this salon. The service, the whole experience was unpleasant. If you bought a voucher for here please read before u decide to go, don't waste your time and money here. To begin with, I called in to check if they had certain time to make an appointment, by groupon mistakenly showed september appointment calendar instead of August which I did not realize till the employee notified me so she said she will schedule my appointment but when I went for my appointment the staff there claim I dont have any appointment cuz the lady I spoke to did not schedule any appointment for me and blamed it on groupon. Let me tell u these staffs are so unprofessional, that they don't clean the seat when they wash your hair or even the sink. It was so disgusting and unhygienic. I had to ask them to clean it, there were hair all over the place and even in the bathroom. Lack of sanitization and lack of professionalism. Also I bought it for a blowout and a deep conditioning treatment, these staffs don't know what deep conditioning treatment was, just did regular washed claim they did the treatment on me it was ridiculous how they work there but they don't know what their part of the job is. Also the staffs doesn't do good job with beach waves, it didnt even last for 30 minutes since she did it lightly. Overall it was horrible experience from the start to the end, I am very disappointed at their service and place is disgusting. They need to do better job sanitizing, train the staffs well and know how to schedule an appointment for customers cuz that lady wish knew her name but lied straight at my face that it was scheduled when she didnt even do it. The color was too gold and dark, but they quickly remedied it with purple shampoo and cleansing shampoo, resulting in a lighter and more natural look in less than 30 minutes. Their expertise and efficiency were truly impressive!
