I brought my brand new watch in, it was in perfect condition, to get the band replaced and my watch was horribly damaged when it was returned to me. I was told that the immense scratching all over the watch was necessary to remove the bands and that my watch was going to get scratched anyways when I wore it. Both of those being completely untrue. I didn’t leave a message or anything, but the owner called me back. Most retail stores in New York these days don’t even pick up a phone during their open hours. Above and beyond. The owner answered all my questions on the phone, and I went in just now, and he replaced the battery in 5 min for $15. Couldn’t have been more gracious or capable. And lovely selection of antique furniture as well that I browsed while I...
