Wedding planning can get quite overwhelming with SO many options and decisions to make, including finding the right photographer to capture the special day!

During my search, I was reading hundreds of reviews and was following every photographer’s Instagram page. After a while my head was spinning – there were so many good options out there, how do we pick one?!

Then, one of our close friends recommended we check out Jakub Redziniak Photography. We visited his website and social media pages, looked through all his sample albums and watched ALL his posted tutorial videos. (What can I say, I’m thorough lol!) We were so impressed with his expertise and professionalism, and we instantly felt comforted by his knowledge and authenticity - and that’s when we realized THIS is the type of photographer we were looking for and needed. (Plus, his sample pictures were stunning!)

Jakub was quick to respond and his scheduling system is great. In our initial meeting via zoom, he explained everything about his business and what makes his offer different. He is just so genuine and puts in so much effort into everything he does. We ended up booking both our engagement photoshoot and wedding day pictures with him.

He is personable, reliable, flexible, and puts you at ease. He goes over everything with you and helps you plan your day so that it goes as smoothly as possible. He keeps everyone on track and honestly just helps you stay sane! We had never worked with a professional photographer before, and he was great at giving us pointers and directing us how to position ourselves and where to look – he actually made it such a fun experience!

Jakub is organized, detail oriented, and delivers (lots!) of high quality pictures within a very reasonable timeline. His pricing was very fair and totally worth every penny. You get so much more for your money compared to other options out there (and the pictures are easily accessible and available for download). Everything about weddings is expensive, but choosing a great photographer is definitely an investment you won’t regret!

Although Jakub may be a very good photographer, he behaved in an extremely unprofessional manner. My daughter and her fiance booked Jakub as their photographer prior to the pandemic. They actually had done their engagement shoot with him which he did for free because he forgot they had an initial appointment to meet at his place in Brooklyn. So since my daughter and her fiance travelled to Brooklyn to meet him only to find no one at the studio, Jakub felt badly and said it was his fault and would do the shoot for free which he did. Then the pandemic hit and the wedding was rescheduled. Then vaccines became available about 9 months prior to the wedding. Jakub refused to get vaccinated which is his choice. However, we needed to have the safest wedding possible to keep our elderly and immunocompromised guests safe, so we decided no kids under 12, no unvaccinated guests or staff or vendors. Since Jakub said he would not get vaccinated we asked that he return the significant deposit we had given him and we would find a vaccinated photographer. He would NOT return the deposit, which I simply couldn't believe. We then chose a new vaccinated photographer and paid him. 5 and a half weeks before the wedding Jakub contacted my daughter and said he is considering getting vaccinated but he would need another couple of days to decide. We had already hired someone else, and Jakub had been so nasty and selfish by keeping the deposit and he wouldn't even have 6 weeks to be fully vaccinated prior to the wedding, so of course we said no to him about being our photographer. What an unprofessional person he is. He kept a great deal of our money (thousands) for doing absolutely nothing. Please don't use Jakub. There are many great photographers out there. Use someone else who has some integrity and don't take the risk that you could lose thousands of dollars too...

We had Jakub as our photographer for our wedding at the Chauncey Hotel in Princeton, NJ in April 2019. Jakub was very responsive, available, helpful, fun and comfortable from the beginning. We booked him about 10 months out, and he checked in periodically to see how we were doing, and to help us build the plan for our big day. He started out with an easy phone call with us to learn more about us, and what we were looking for. He provided a ton of advice and comfort throughout what could be a really stressful process - he ended up creating our day-of schedule that our family and wedding party could follow which made it super easy for us. He arrived early on wedding day, and took getting ready photos, set up our first look, and then took all of the couple, family, and wedding party photos before the wedding started (at our request) so we could enjoy all parts of the wedding. He instructed us the whole time, and made us feel comfortable even though my (now) husband and I didn't love being in the spotlight and in front of the cameras. He ended up staying longer than scheduled to ensure he captured all of the fun. We then received all 600 (!!) pictures of the wedding only THREE days after our wedding day. They come in a super easy online link that you can share with family and friends to download and keep forever. We loved literally every single picture. They came out crisp, and clear but also very natural and real-looking. We cannot recommend Jakub enough as a wedding photographer - we can't think of one negative thing to say about him.
