I booked a private room through class pass at 10am (was looking forward to this all week) I got there about 15min early went to the bathroom as the receptionist cleaned the room. I was waiting till I get led to my room as it was my first time. I was also looking for socks which I almost bought since the machine was down. It’s 9:59 a woman comes in claiming she booked a class or room (couldn’t listen well), the receptionist books her for a room and tells her she can use the duet room. It’s 10am I’m still waiting and that’s when I decided to ask her if I can go to my room — I literally booked for a single room not a duet room and I heard her tell the lady she can use the duet room (or something) atp I’m already annoyed because the lady that came in went to the room (that I thought was going to be my room). Read moreSelformer is my very first Pilates experience and I’m officially hooked! I’ve only tried their private room video classes so far, and I’m obsessed with how convenient, customizable, and enjoyable they are. There are tons of video options to choose from, plus you can select your preferred instructor and difficulty level, which makes it super easy to tailor your workout to how you’re feeling that day.
The studio itself is extremely clean, tidy, and well-designed — it feels very welcoming and relaxing the moment you walk in. On my first visit, the front desk staff member was so friendly and helpful. They took the time to walk me through everything, explain how the private room works, and show me where everything was, which made the whole experience stress-free and comfortable.
I’m already looking forward to trying one of their regular classes soon. Highly recommend Selformer to anyone curious about Pilates or looking for a studio that’s supportive, modern, and thoughtfully...
Read moreThe best instructors …perfect beginner classes for someone like me: new and out of shape but 2 months in lost 15 pounds and getting better at basic form…also general classes are a good fast paced basic pilates hour with minor variations from instructor to instructor to keep you coming back. The videos also help if you want to get used to positioning with the straps and auxiliary parts: balls, magic circles, springboards, jumping boards, mats…and of course who could forget the pilates box! Cheers to owner Dana whose pro rock n roll photo work adorn the walls and give the rooms their names. Of the current roster Bushra, Luna & Saadiq are the people I’ve worked with, each with their own pro style. Try them all…I have Becca Thursday for...
